I couldn't believe it. I wasted so much time. Time, I could have been here with my best friend. Time that I foolishly wasted instead of being here where she needed me to me. Crying harder I banged my head against the desk, ignoring the pain.

When I woke up this morning I wasn't prepared for Nix and Mac to already be gone. And if Albert didn't inform us of their departure, I would probably still think they were in bed fooling around like they did every morning.

But instead their room was empty and the bed was made.

Hawk and Tank were as surprised as me, but they were still a bit lost on what to do. Hacker on the other hand was not shocked at all. He just shrugged his shoulder and head to his computer in the command center like it was any other day. Stupid prick. Would it kill him to show any emotion? Men!

And now I had no idea where anyone was at and for once since I returned I was utterly alone. And I fucking hated it!

Woman you are going to cause a short circuit. Stop with the tears and get up – you knew she was heading out. I swear woman make no sense to me sometimes.

"Oh, shut up Albert, I can cry if I want. The bitch didn't even say goodbye! How does my BFF just go off on a suicide mission without saying goodbye? Huh? And she just told me yesterday she was leaving. YESTERDAY. Who can pack that quickly? I mean seriously, I can pack fast but not that fast."

This is the same Major we both know, right? I mean the woman doesn't exactly accessorize...unless you count weapons as accessories. Plus, she always has her stuff on standby in the underground garage. Mac added his stuff, per by advice by the way, a few months back. So, all they needed to do was jump in and drive.

Now, I have my orders and you have yours. So, suck it up buttercup and focus. The Major was counting on you to hold down the new fort.

"Albert what the hell are you talking about. What orders, maybe all my crying did cause your wires to fry."

Oh, yea of little faith. Did you really think the Major would leave without having a plan put in motion? Now grab the computer and let's get started. You need to be on the road by tomorrow and we don't want to waste any more time on your pointless tears.

To the new place off route 3 that is all set up and ready for your command. The Renegades have already been informed of your arrival. Hawk and Tank will be escorting you and Hacker will close the house. Time to go home little girl. No more running for you.

The bitch is lucky she is gone. Pissed I sat up straight and dragged the laptop over. "All right Albert...give it to me. Nix doesn't do anything for the hell of it. What is our girl planning?"
