"Lucas Robert." I beam at him with a smile.

"Jennifer Rose." He mocks, His expression mirroring mine.

"My name isn't Jennifer it's Jenny!" I shout.

"My name isn't Lucas, Jennifer." He winks.

"If you call me that one more time I'll- "

"You'll what? Not give me candy for a day?" He smirks.

"Good idea!" I gasp.

"Wait! No. No. No! Don't do that, I'm sorry Jenny." He frowns.

"You should be Lucas," I say, My voice stern.

"There's a place in hell for people like you." He teases.

"Yeah," I nod. "And it's called the thrown."

"I can totally picture you with horns and a pitch fork." He puts his pointer fingers on the side on my head mimicking horns.

"Oh no! You're seeing my true identity! Now I have to kill you." I sigh.

I point a fake finger gun at him.

"Hit me with your best shot!" He sings.

"Fire away," I add with a laugh.

"Oh! That's my queue," I shoot him.

"You'd be an amazing actress, You know that?" He smiles.

"I'm not hysterically dramatic day and night for no reason. Of course I know Lucas," I laugh.

"Jennifer Rose. That is enough." He groans.

"Fine." I giggle.

We are way too immature. We literally act like children.

"Okay, Ready to go back home?" He ask.

"Sure." I nod.

What he meant by 'home' was his house. Which is like my second home. And the park we're leaving is our third.

"I'm home!" Luke yells as he takes off his shoes.

"I brought Jenny!" He adds.

"Hey sweetie," Liz comes out of the kitchen.

She gives Luke a kiss on the cheek.

"Jesus boy," She laughs.

"You smell like you've spent your entire life in the wilderness." She sighs.

"Go take a shower, Jenny can wait down here with me."

"Mom," Luke groans.

"I'm seventeen now! Stop telling what to do."

"My house. My rules."

"Why?" Luke whines.

I can't help but roll my eyes at his immaturity.

"Because I said so," She smiles.

"Good one mom, you should become a lawyer." He mumbles as he walks away.

"What was that?" She raises a brow and puts a hand on her hip.

"Um," He holds back a smile. "I love you mommy?" He then runs upstairs into the bathroom.

She walks into the kitchen and I follow her.

"So," She starts as I sit on one of the island stools and she goes to the food shes cooking

"It's the Fourth of July weekend in a week, I know it's such short notice but the entire neighborhood is planning a big party here at our park. We're calling it the 'block party' anyway, I want to invite you since Luke always forgets and you don't exactly live in the area, no one else would've informed you." She sighs.
