You looked at Warren as you sat on his floor. The room was quiet and heavy with tension as you looked at him, then at Nathan. You were surprised Warren was cool with you both coming.

"You don't have like...any board games or something?" you finally broke the silence

Nathan chuckled and looked up from his phone at you,
"Really, 'board games', (Y/N)?"

You shrugged,
"It's better than just sitting here and being bored." you laid back until your head was on Nathan's lap

Warren quietly laughed at you both and shook his head,
"I have some video games. The only one I have for all three of us is MarioKart, is that cool?"

"Yea! Get it!" you smiled and watched as he got up and began to search through his closet before you felt your phone vibrate in your pocket. You took it out and smiled upon reading the text.

"What is it?" Nathan asked 

"Raincheck on the video games. My parents texted me...they want us to meet them at the park. You guys game?"

Both boys nodded, Nathan stood and offered his hand to help you up. You gently slipped your hand into his,
"Get ready then, we'll meet up in the parking lot?"
they nodded once more. Neither of the three of you were dressed for a hot day in the park so you and Nathan returned to your seperate dorms to change.
Once you were dressed you quickly headed out to the parking lot and watched as the boys sat near Nathan's truck. You all got in and you sat between the boys,

"My parents said they got the food and stuff covered, it's gonna be a picnic."

"Awesome.." Warren replied as he looked out the window, he looked a bit nervous

"My dad's gonna be so glad to see you again.." you smiled leaning your head against his shoulder

"Really...you think so..?" he sheepishly asked, looking down at you

"Of course! He likes you because you're a nerd..just like him..." you rolled your eyes as you picked your head up from his shoulder

He laughed quietly and looked back out the window,
"I'm not.."

"You are! I love you for it though.." you smiled up at him before drifting your eyes to Nathan, you watched as he sighed under his breath..some kind of frown on his face. You didn't question it, you didn't want to distract him while he was driving. Nathan always had some sort of look of sadness on his face but not when it was just the two of you. Was he feeling left out again?

You pulled up at the park. You eagerly pushed Warren to get out,
"Okay okay!" he laughed as he moved, he helped you down out the truck once he was out. You quickly noticed your parents out in the grass, they quickly stood up and waved you all over. You ran ahead of Warren and Nathan to basically jump into their loving arms. Once Warren walked up your dad quickly wrapped his arm around him to clasp onto his shoulder,

"H-hello, Mr.(Y/L/N).." Warren greeted nervously

"No need to be so shy, Warren." your father spoke
