The next morning, I decided to walk to Ariella's house. I wanted to ask her a special question, but how would I? I knocked onh er door. She opened it and I smiled.
"Hey," I said.
"Hey," said Ariella. "What are you doing here?"
"I wanted to ask you something."
Ariella walked outside on the front porch and shut the door. "What is it?"
"Well, we all know that you and Steven are just 'best friends' right now, and you and I both declared our love for each other yesterday morning after the fight."
"Yeah?"
"And I was wondering." My eyes changed from brown to golden yellow. "Would you be my girlfriend?" I put my warm hand on her cheek.
She smiled as her eyes changed from brown to orange. She kissed me and said, "Of course I will."
I picked her up and spun her around. It was at this moment that I knew I was going to love this girl for the rest of my werewolf life.
