"Ok make sure he doesn't get to hot Damian." I said for about the 10th time.

"I know , I'll call you if I need help with anything" he said. I kissed Jayceon on his forehead.

"Bye mamas baby. Love you" I closed the door and walked to the driver side where Damian was. "Be safe with my baby D."

"Our baby, and I will. We'll be back around 5. " I turned and walked inside with Stephanie behind me.

"You ready to go? Our appointment is in 15 minutes"

I grabbed my phone and purse, making sure my gun is in there. "Yea come on" We walked out to my car. "Where's Keemy?"

"School" she said. I nodded "So Hakeem filled me in on you and Damian. How are things? "

"Alright I guess. I'm not sure if I can open up to him like I used to though" I said honestly.

"What you mean?"

"When he said I love you, I don't say it back. I used to call him baby, bae, babe but now I either call him D or Damian. I think I might even stop being affectionate with him for awhile"

"Sydney, I know we just met and all but if you ever need a girl to talk to, you can call me anytime" she said looking over at me. I smiled.

"Thanks, I'll hold you to that one. Do you think what I'm doin is good?" I asked.

"Yea, I would be doing the same thing."

I nodded as we pulled up to the nail salon. Soon as my feet were put in the water, Damian called. "Hello"

"Jay won't stop crying" he said calmly. I could hear my baby in the background screaming his heart out.

"You checked his diaper and gave him his bottle?

"His diaper good and he didn't want his bottle"

"Give him the one with apple juice in it. He loves it" I smiled. I hear fumbling in the back then Jayceon stopped crying.

"Iight and if he start crying again?" he asked.

"Give him his binki. Is his hat still on?"

"Yeap and I put 2 little fans on his stroller facing him so he won't get hot"

"Good, call me if u need anything else. Oh and when you get back, we need to talk" I heard him sigh.

"I already know what it is. You butt dialed me when you were talking to Steph about it. I completely understand"

"Ok well see you when y'all get back" I said softly.

"Iight, love you baby. Bye" and he hung up. I put my phone in my purse and laid my head back.

"You ok Syd? " Stephanie asked. I nodded.

Damian

"Look Jay, you see the hyena?" I said pointing. He looked at me and started babbling like he knew what I was saying. "Yea I know right. I've never heard them laugh either"

After walking around and seeing all the animals, I bought 2 hot dogs and a medium soda. While eating I gave Jayceon his bottle.

I grabbed my things and Jayceon and I went to the car. I strapped him in his car seat and drove home.

"D is that you?" Sydney yelled from the kitchen. When I heard her say she won't be affectionate with me anymore and she won't open up like before, I was hurt. But I understand why she felt the way she did so I can't be mad.

My actions are what caused her to say that, I just have to face my consequences.

"Yea" I walked in the living room with Jayceon in my arms. I saw Stephanie and Hakeem, along with 2 other people I don't know. "Wassup everybody"

"Hey" They said. I walked in the kitchen.

"My baby" Sydney smiled taking Jayceon out my arms. She kissed all over him "Did you miss me?" she asked.

He smiled and hid his face in her chest "I missed you too baby"

I kissed her cheek, knowing I wouldn't get the lips. "Who the other couple in there?" I asked.

"Drew and Tina" she said. I nodded and took Jayceon upstairs with me. I gave him a bath and took him back down with everyone.

"How was the zoo?" Stephanie asked. I didn't want to say that Sylvia showed her crazy ass up so I completely left that part out.

"Good" I shrugged.

"You're Jayceon's father?" I think her name is Tina. I nodded "Y'all look like twins" she said, smiling.

"Yea, that's my son" was all I said. I couldn't stop thinkin about what Syd told me. .

I thought we was workin on being together. .
