Once Audrey was done feeding me, we were on the couch cuddled up when my phone rang.

It was Chris.

Chris is like a brother to Damian and I. He tries to handle a situation on his own so he won't have to bother Damian or me. I decided to bring him and some other people down here in Florida with me. So when he calls, it's usually bad.

I grabbed my phone and walked out the room.

"Wassup"

"I got some shit on that nigga Big J" Chris said.

"Oh word, talk"

" Ok I got his address and all. His real name is Jordan Heights, and he got no girlfriend. No kids, and he was accused of attempted rape on a 16 year old girl a few years back."

I didn't even know what the fuck to say.

"Hello, nigga you heard me?"

"Yea yea, I heard. I gotta go. I'll hit you up when I figure out what we gonna do"

I can't believe this shit. I called Damian and told him what Chris just told me. He was out getting food for Syd, and I told him to rush back to the hospital. I then called Sydney.

"Keyshawn, long time no hear. How you been?" Someone else answered. The fuck?

" Yo, who the fuck Is this?"

"Now that's no way to talk to your step dad now is it?"

"Nigga fuck you. I swear if you even think about touching Syd I will kill you the worst way possible"

" its a little to late for that. Sydney, baby say hi to your brother."

"Keyshawn, please help me"

"Baby girl where are you?"

"In this house on -" I heard a loud smack that made my blood boil. He put his hands on my sister.

"Syd, baby you messed up" he chuckled. "We'll call you later K. Syd and I have some business to take care of"

I ran Into the living room where Audrey was laid out on the couch.

"Get up. We gotta go now" I said grabbing my keys and a shirt.

"Why what's wrong?"

"Syd been kidnapped. Now let's go"

She grabbed her phone and we ran outside to the car.

On our way to the hospital, I couldn't help but think about what that nigga was doing to my baby sister. Audrey began rubbing my leg, telling me everything will be ok. That helped but not enough.

We pulled up to the hospital and ran inside. I saw Damian yelling at the lady at the front desk and she looked like she was about to shit bricks.

"Damian chill, excuse me miss.. My sister Sydney Washington was checked out. Can you tell me who checked her out please."

"I'm sorry but I can't. Hospital policy" she said.

" But I have to know. She not a answering her phone, and I was going to surprise her by popping up with her best friend. They haven't seen each other in 8 years." I said pointing to Audrey.

"Ok, but I'm not suppose to do this"

"Thank you, I appreciate it" She began typing on her computer then looked back up at me.

"A women by the name of Mariah. Mariah Washington. "

"Thank you beautiful" I said walking away.

Audrey, Damian and I walked out the hospital. I told Damian we would follow him home so he could drop off his car, and we will all ride back to the trap.

On our way to the trap, I called up Chris and the rest of my niggas and told them to meet me at the trap.

We pull up and everyone hop out the car. I see at least 16 cars in front of my house meaning everyone is here. I walk in and find everyone in my office smoking.

Damian sits to my right, and Chris sits to my left. I pull Audrey in my lap. I pull out a wrap and some weed so Audrey can roll up for me. "Alright, so long story short Big J also know as Jordan Heights got Syd. I want him and whoever work for him found alive and brought here. "

Around the room all you heard was them cussin and threats towards Big J. Everyone here looked at Syd as a lil sister so for her to be kidnapped is crazy.

"Baby didn't the nurse at the hospital say that your mom signed Sydney out?" Audrey said handing me the blunt.

"Yeap" I said lighting it.

"Well then if your mom signed Syd out then your mom has something to do with it. Since Jordan has Syd now, then it's likely your mom was the last one to see Syd." she said.

It was quiet for awhile.

"You right baby. Ok, I want Jay, Nick, JJ, Lil kev, and Tim to go out and find some shit on Big J and whoever work for him. Find anyone, bring them here. And Chris, and I will go to my moms place. Bae you coming with me too. "

Everyone strapped up and left. On the way to my moms, I became nervous. I haven't talked to her since she kicked Syd out.

We pulled up and we all got out. I knocked on the door and waited. It seemed like nobody was home but then the door flew open. There stood my mother, with a black eye and busted lip.
