Where am I?...I could hear voices and screams, Am I dead? I slowly opened my eyes, but my view was still blurred. Argh...My head! It felt so heavy.

I...No, we were running? My body was completely paralyzed and my muscles were aching, probably due to the hit I received before leaving the castle. Even breathing became a struggle. In fact, each time I exhaled I had a strange feeling that knives were stabbing me. I only could hear thuds. What is happening, and why are we running?  Where are we going?  Besides, that man seemed to pay attention neither to those screams nor to the chaos around us. Suddenly, I perceived from here an ignited field of flowers. Unfortunately, I recognized it. Suddenly my eyes started burning, I felt my tears running down my cheeks at the sight of that horrifying scene.

That field...It was the one where Enden, Lys and I used to spend time on. When we were little we spent hours playing silly games there.  Before all this chaos, it was so beautiful...The flowers decorating it were colorful, which created the impression that we were in Heaven. And now...that field became Hell.

These colorful flowers were inflamed and the smoke emanating from it intoxicated the air. Thus, a blackish cloud invaded the sky and was covered by it. The unpleasant smell of smoke and burnt plants overwhelmed me. It was the same landscape as the one in my nightmare. It was an ignited field of flowers, burning up all of my memories. Red and black were the color that painted that hellish canvas. Somehow, I felt an horrible feeling of sorrow and loss.

The men who kidnapped me was still carrying me on his shoulder like a potato sack, and I wasn't able to move since his muscular arms circled my waist. Progressively this hellish view started to fade away as we got into the woods and disappeared amongst the darkness.

I think we had been running for at least two hours. At some point I might have fallen asleep. When I woke up, the man was still running and wasn't even tired.

"Guh..." What the hell, I had the impression that I was drugged.

"Oh, you're awake. Perfect, we're almost there."  He added while he was still running.

"Where are...we..." My head hurt so much that I thought it could explode. Argh fuck, what had he done to me?

"Don't worry we're almost there."  Almost where?  I thought.

As he kept running, we saw a little village near the beach and next to it, a gigantic ship that had the shape of a whale. What the fuck is that?

"What the..."  I said mirroring my thoughts. Was that a pirate ship?! No way, he was a pirate! I'm screwed. I thought. They wanted the treasure, I was sure of it. I started to thrust my hands and legs to break free of his tight grip. But to no avail. I felt desperate. Those assholes, I swear If I could I'd beat their asses. But they were too many. What was I supposed to do?...Then, the man caught my surprise as I saw the ship.

"Impressed, huh? " He said while grinning as if I hadn't tried to run just a second ago . When I lifted up my head I could barely see the tattoo on his chest. A blue cross? No...That sign was different. Weird, I had the impression that I have seen it somewhere. I've never been good for recognizing pirates. For me, they were simply bloodthirsty criminals. I'd like to say Never judge a book by its cover but, then there was the fact that he had kidnapped me and hit me three times on the head. I didn't trust him and I never would. That asshole, he tricked me!
