It is impossible to suffer without making someone pay for it; every complaint already contains revenge.- Friedrich Nietzsche

They said that she was a princess, but we were pirates. Last night, I met Reylen D Himelia, a survivor of the attack of Blackbeard on Mayssyr, a kingdom in the East.
Oyaji had explained to me the whole story : the fact that she was a princess and the protector of a legendary treasure that Blackbeard had stolen, she was a devil fruit eater and that she would join our crew. I met her when I came back to my room, only to find her sleeping on my bed. Ever since that moment I was astonished by her beauty; she was a jet black haired young woman with milky skin, luscious red lips and breathtakingly beautiful scarlet eyes. And she was sleeping in my bed. She looked so fragile that I had the impression she would break into a million pieces at any moment, even her voice seemed broken as if it reflected the terrors she had been through.
I let her sleep on my bed, even if she was a stranger. In the middle of the night, I left her in my room and went looking for Marco. He was leaning on the railings, staring at the vast ocean. He and I had a long talk, we had a discussion about the mysterious girl in my room. He told me who she was, and I explained why I came back and how I failed my mission.
I had to admit I was glad that Marco saved her, but it was too dangerous for her. In fact, she would be targeted by all the pirates of the ocean and the Marines. Not to mention, that her staying with us would mean she would have to become a pirate. She was digging her own grave.
Next morning, I went to see Oyaji and wanted to make my opinions clear, but he didn't want to listen to me. Not only was this too dangerous for her, she'd also be a burden for us. What's more, we still had to find that traitor. A spoiled little princess would only slow us down. I said all of this. But it was in vain, Oyaji wanted her to be part of our crew and there was no changing his mind.
It wasn't my business at all, but he told me that she would be under Marco's division meaning that she would fight with us. I was aware about what happened to her kingdom and felt sorry for her. But, this didn't mean that I wanted her as a nakama. She looked too fragile to be a pirate. I sighed heavily before directing myself towards Marco, I needed to make some things clear. Besides, I wanted to spend time with him and I also wanted to know his opinion about this whole mess.
"Hey," I called out for him, grinning.
"Yo." He turned back and smiled at me, then he put a friendly arm around my shoulders, "wassup?"
"I'm cool, you?" I responded. I was relieved to see that he was fine, even after the tragedy. Marco was still Marco.
"Same," he replied.
"So..."
"You've met Himelia." He whispered those words making me feel like she was some kind of prey. Of course, she was pretty. Well, more than that, really. She was gorgeous. But I didn't care, at all. Marco was always like that when we met women. In fact, each time I met a girl, Marco always teased me, telling me to date them.
"Yeah." I thoughtfully turned my gaze to the ground as I said it. Slowly, some flashes from last night crossed my mind. When I closed my eyes, I could see her beautiful ebony hair and how peaceful she looked while sleeping.
"I know," he said, "she's a pain in the ass but when you get to know her, you'll see she's fine."
"Never said the contrary." Seems that he already liked her.
