When You realize you love him

JOSH: (three months after he realized he liked you)

I sighed as I entered Josh's house. His parents gave me a key when they realized how close we were. 

I walked upstairs and smiled at him laying sick in bed with his mother at his side.

"hey, I can take it from here." she smiled at me and picked up her suitcase ready for her trip abroad for work.

"thank you for looking after my son.he's had his medication to bring down his temperature but he needs to wait for his anti depressants for at least an hour. I'll call you to check in." she said and i nodded before she left.  

"y/n?" i sat at his chair and frowned slightly at the sound of his scratchy voice. 

"I'm right here." I said and he opened his eyes. 

"please don't give me my anti depressants." he said and I took his burning hand. 

"you have to take them. they will help you." i responded gently. he shook his head.

"no. I've got you and I've got my sisters. everything i need is right here." he smiled. I got a text and checked it. it's from Beth.

BETH: is josh ok? i hate that we're going with mom and dad for a vacation whilst they work. I miss you both already.

ME: Josh is fine. he's awake now.

i replied and turned down the light before placing it on his bedside. He smiled softly and i felt a tug at my heartstrings he's hot even though he's got a fever. I...love my  best friend?

CHRIS: (a while before he realized)

I smiled as Chris pumped his fists into the air.

"Wohoo! I finally did it! I beat you~" he chimed and i rolled my eyes. 

"Congrats! You finally-" I was cut off when he tackled me into a hug.

"You don't know how much this means to me." He moved back with a smile. My heart jumped at the purity of it.

And (bro name) just had to ruin it.

He slammed open the door with disheveled hair.

"I heard you defeated the mighty y/n!" He exclaimed before entering the room with drunken cheer.

"Congratu*hic*lations doya wanna drunk?" He asked as he began to drink out of the bottle.

"Bro name. You're drunk. I'll be back in a sec chris." I sighed as i stood and guided my brother to his room.

My thoughts went back to how happy and cute Chris was when he won as i helped my brother into his room. 

"look, your sick bucket is on your bedside table, get into pajamas or just boxers. whatever you want. stay inside here, okay?" I asked and he nodded hiccuping in response.

i closed the door and heaved a sigh before returning to Chris who was excitedly setting up another game for us to play. 

(MIKE: you noticed exactly when he noticed soooo sorry, there isn't one for him this time) 

MATT: ( literally earlier in the week than him)

I smiled as I walked with Emily to meet Matt. We're all once again having a day out around the mall.

"you looking forward to seeing matt again?" she asked wiggling her eyebrows. I rolled my eyes.

"there are my girls!" arms wrapped across our shoulders and we all laughed. "where are we going first?" he asked as we all calmed a little.

"well, i need a new bikini so i guess...clothes first!" emily exclaimed marching over. "i need to dress to impress on our holiday, you know?" she asked and we both muttered in agreement.

their holiday's only for two days though. besides, no matter what she wears, Mike will still love her. 

i followed Em around the bikini's and matt dazedly walked beside me and his eyes skimmed over the rails. 

"hey, y/n?" i turned to see him holding up a string bikini.

"do you think this is my style?" he asked holding it infront of himself with a weird duck face. i laughed hysterically as i took a picture. 

"y/n, will mike like this?" she asked and we turned to see her holding a white bikini set with gemstone arms on the top piece. 

I nodded.

"yeah, it'll really suit you." i said and she smiled.

"i know that but will he like it?"

"he'll surely like whats hidden by it." matt whispered and i elbowed him.

"he'll like it. " i agreed "but you know he'll love you no matter what you wear right?" she nodded.

"of course! i just want to look nice at the beach." she said and put the bikini into her basket."now i need sandals to match!" 

Matts shoulders slumped and i giggled.

"why are you acting so outgoing recently?" i asked noting his change in character. instead of answering verbally, he showed a dare text he got from josh.

JOSH: act opposite for the day out with y/n and Em. let them take photos ;) 

he then put his phone back into his pocket.

it then hit me like a tonne of bricks. i like him like this but i love him the way he usually is...

I LOVE HIM!
