Made For You| Mike x reader

I looked around my room at the girls getting ready for our final prom. Each of them had a date. Emily was going with Matt, Jessica found some footballer guy Daniel, Ashley had Chris, Sam was going with Josh....I had nobody.  I held off on other offers waiting for my crush Mike to invite me.

He's not going. I doubt he'd be interested anyway. 

"cheer up (y/n)! there are plenty of hot guys ready to swoop in." Jess said as if she read my thoughts. 

"yeah! it's your night. don't get hung up over him, we're all here for you." Ashley added with a smile as she finished winging her eyeliner.

"we've all finished our makeup so you know what that means!" Emily exclaimed and we all smiled.

"dresses!" we all said at once. everyone took turns changing in the en-suite before showing off to everyone. 

I went last and changed into a (f/c) dress with a form fitting bodice that flowed own from the waist. The dress glittered as i twirled to show everyone. 

"you look stunning." Sam said whilst the others stuck their thumbs up before we got on our cardigans and purses and headed out to find the limo waiting with our friends inside. 

"holy shit you all look so hot!" were the first words we heard from Josh as we took our seats. 

"oh, i know my girl's hot." Matt said pulling emily closer to him. I sighed inaudibly.

"y/n you look stunning." Chris said diverting the topic of relationships. I smiled as best as i could.

"thanks. you guys look dashing yourselves." I replied and the girls nodded with how true i was. 

After our uneventful car ride, we ended up in front of school. 

"imagine, we won't be coming here ever again after tonight." Josh said as he slowed his pace to walk beside me with his arm linked with Sam. 

"I know. everyone's going to miss the infamous Washington pranks." he chuckled.

"yeah. I guess they will miss my awesomness, huh?" he joked and I laughed as we all entered the ballroom. 

Jess was the first to abandon us as she raced over to Daniel. I sighed as I walked over to the punch table and picked up some fruit infused water.

"hello everyone and welcome to prom!" I almost spilt my drink as I turned to face the stage. There, in all of his glory was Mike Munroe in a tux! "how're you all doing right now?!"

"good!" people chorused in reply. 

"cool! then you won't mind this little story. you see, I've been a jerk. I was too shy to ask the most beautiful girl in the room to prom. I worked up the courage a few days ago and- she was too perfect so i panicked and said I wasn't coming!" people softly booed as if it was planned.

"i know, right! so, anyway, I decided to fix my mistake. I'm going to sing a special song for her. hopefully, she doesn't hate me even more after this." he cleared his throat and began singing, his voice was so smooth and engaging.

I felt my eyes water as he spotted me. He walked over with a precious smile on his face as the crowd parted for him. he stopped a few paces in front of me and continued singing.

I smiled softly at him but felt nervous as i noticed everyone surrounding us with some filming and even more taking photos. Mike noticed and used his free hand to direct my face to him. he winked and I felt my face flush.

He grinned as everyone clapped and handed the mic over to a teacher before leaning his head close. I complied and we shared a sweet kiss. everyone soon seperated as we both smiled at each other.

"how did you do all of this?how did the school agree to let you do this?" he smiled softly and winked.

"i'm not telling you my secret. though I will say, I wasn't lying when I called you the most beautiful in the room." I chuckled and punched his shoulder lightly.

"Stop being so cheesy." I said with a small smile.

"It's not cheesy if it's true-" he was cut off by Josh.

"Why don't you both just date already and join us on the dancefloor?? You can fix this sexual tension later." He said with a wink before continuing his dance with Sam.

"Will you care to dance?" Mike asked and did a strange bow. I smiled and laughed lightly at his request.

"Of course." I said and took his hand.

He lead me onto the dancefloor and we danced our 'sexual tension' away laughing at each others jokes happy that we're finally together.
