Manik's Nandini

Chapter 2

After taking shower Nandini came out of the washroom and looked at the mirror. Her eyes were swollen beacause of crying, and her face looked pale. She dried her hair with the towel and was combing her hair.
Meanwhile downstairs Nyonika told Manik to call nandu. Manik gave e irritated look and went upstairs to call her. Manik knocked her door and saw the door is open and saw her combing her hair sitting infornt of the dressing. He cleared his throat and said 'Mom tumhe bula rahi hain, breakfast k liye' Nandini looked at Manik through the mirror and instantly got up and hung her head low and said 'ji, ararehu main' . Manik went went away without saying anything. This is the first time they ever talked.

Nandini combed her hair quickly and moved downstairs, She saw they all were sitting at the table waiting for her. Nyonika called her and made her sit beside her and she was facing Manik. 'Nandini, eat properly okay! your face has become so pale' Nandini couldn't eat much as she again her misery hit her mind and nyonika too didn't insist. They all were sitting on the sofa.
'Manik take Nandini to the garden, show her the garden she will feel good'
'Nandini beta go with Manik, get some fresh air' nyonika said to both of them.

'Come!' Manik said to Nandini. She stood up and obediently followed him. They were walking and Nandini was following him maintaining a great distance. Manik saw this and he stopped his pace, Nandini didn't see that and dash at his back as she was not looking up. Manik chuckled and said 'stay beside me!' 'which school do you read in?' Manik asked. She told XYZ school. 'which class?' '9' she replied. 'oh, so next year you will be giving your board exam? she nodded. They were walking in the garden and Nandini was mesmerized seeing the flowers, the garden is huge. There were two swings at one corner. Swmming pool is on the rooftop. Though Manik didn't like Nandini at first but slowly he enjoyed her company.

'Do you know what do I do?' she nodded her head in a no. 'I graduated from XYZ university last year, will be joining Malhotra industries' he said and Nandini just meekly. 'Are dumb? why don't you speak!' Manik almost shouted. 'I.. a..m sorry' Nandini stammerred. 'Chalo andar!' Manik said irritatingly and she followed him.

Nandini's POV
I followed him to the living room after getting scolded. Is it my fault I don't speak much! My Mumma Papa left me just yesterday and expects me too laugh and talk! Nyonika aunty and Raj uncle is so good! but he! he's a monster. I know he doesn't like me, and doesn't want talk to me. As if I am dying to talk to him! Manik went to his room and I sat beside nyonika aunty.

'Nandini beta we are planning to get you admitted to Manik's school. You might face a little problem at first as it's a different curriculum! nyonika said to her.
I am a very good student! I am always a topper. My mumma and papa used to help me in studies and my teachers were always there for me! I never needed any teachers or go to coachings. As per aunty she will get me admitted to an english medium school. I hope I will be able to self study there too. Aunty told me to take rest in my room. I went upstairs and saw his room's door locked. I went to my room and closed the door and lied down thinking about my life.I don't know how will I live. what will be my identity, If I get admitted to this new school, I will have new friends. I hope everything goes well. Mumma, Papa you will be there for me na? humesha? and a lone tear escaped my eyes.
The day went well. Manik didn't talk to me the whole day. We just met during the lunch and dinner. He's arrogant, just by his looks anyone can say that.

Manik's POV
I got mesmerized by Nandini's beauty when I saw her in her room today. Her wet hair was making her look more ethereal. She looked like a fresh flower. She's really very beautiful. 'Oh god! did I just call her beautiful!' she's just a mere employee's daughter. What happened to you Manik! I scolded myself.

Next day Manik, Nandini and Nyonika went to Manik's school to get her admission. Even Manik was a topper in his school. Principal gladly welcomed them! He was happy to see Manik after a long time. Nyonika talk to principal about Nandini. Seeing Nandini's academic results he was highly impressed even Manik too! Nandini need to give admission test to get in this school. which was going to be held after 3 days.

'Manik tum Nandini ko help karna to prepare for the test! It's very important for her'. nyonika said to Manik.
'Ok Mom' Manik said.
They went to the library and bought books for her which will help her in the test.
'Manik mujhe NGO main jana hain, kuch kaam hain. tum mujhe drop karke Nandini ko ghar le jao' Manik nodded after dropping Nyonika Manik and Nandini were the only one in the car. 'after reaching home come to my room, we will study' Nandini replied an okay.

They reached home and Nandini changed her dress and wore comfortable clothes. She wore a T shirt and and trousers. She went to Manik's room with books in her hand and knocked it. Manik opened his room and her let her in. He didn't lock the door just closed it.

So here goes the second chapter! I know initial chapters are boring. But you will love it when Manik will fall for her, and will get possessive and obsessed with her!
