Chapter 4

Manik's POV
That evening was really embarrasing. I couldn't understand at first what was that thin thing but then I saw the stores name and under it was written bras and lingeries shop. shit! It's her bra's strap. She noticed it too and I quickly shifted my gaze. When Nandini was going to put the bag inside her cupboard at that time only I entered her room! what a coincidence! She looked really cute, when widening her big eyes, and her cheeks slightly pink maybe out of embarrasment.

Finally it was Nandini's admission test day. In these two days we got really close, we gossiped a lot, I talked to her about my school life, college life. My friends Fab 5. She also told me about her that she's a nerd, and has limited friend. She's very naive which I liked about her. Finally I got a friend who would stay with me 24/7. I went to her room to call her. It's already 7 A.M we have to leave for her school too. I saw her already dressed up in a top and jeans, tying her hair in a high ponytail. I went and sat on her bed. 'Manik I am really scared!' she said to me. 'don't be, you would do really well, I have full faith in you' she smiled at me and I too smiled back. We had our breakfast and went outside. Driver got the car, we sat both sat on the backseat. reaching the school gate we got down, and I accompanied her to the classroom, I squeezed her hand tightly assuring her, she will do well. Her hand is soft like feather, and mine are rough. I chuckled at the thought. I was waiting for her in the parents' waiting area and finally saw her coming to me with a huge smile on her face. 'so? how was your exam?' I asked. 'it went really good, I could answer all the question' she chirped happily. 'okay! so in that case, I sould give you a treat for giving an awesome exam' We went to a five star hotel, and moved to the VIP area. They greeted us and led us to an amazing private place. Nandini's getting hell uncomfortable. For the first time she's visiting such place. I didn't leave her hand since entering the hotel. The waiter placed the menue chart infront of us. 'choose your favourite dishes' I told her. she nodded her negatively. 'nehi, aap select karo. aap ko jo pasand aye' she said cutely. Have I told you I love it when she calls me 'aap'. she looks so cute. 'okay! so today we will have my favourite dishes next time se, it will be according to you' she nodded smilingly. Her smile is very beautiful. we had our lunch. She found it little difficulty to use knife and fork but then got used to it. Then we went home. 'Nandu, exam kaisa raha beta?' Mom asked her. 'aunty bohot accha hua'
'Mom we had our lunch on our way, so I am going to my room' I said to mom. I went upstairs to my room. Nandini also went to her room.

Nandini's results were out after some days, and she got selected. We were really happy. Mom took her to tailor to buy her school uniform. Even I am going to join office after somedays. I can drop Nandini to her school.
