Daniel's POV.

I rushed past my parents and into the hospital.

She can't be gone.

I can't loose my best friend.

I can't loose you Gianna. Please.......

I ran up to the front desk out of breath.

G-gianna Jones, w-where is she?-Daniel

I caught my breath and looked up to the women who had a rather confused look on her face.

I'm sorry, but are you immediate family?-Lady

I'M HER BESTFRIEND!-Daniel

oops, forgot I was in a hospital.

Look, Please.-Daniel

She quickly typed something in her computer.

3rd floor, room 201.-Lady

Thank you, thank you so much-Daniel

Before my parents could catch up to me I rushed off.

Daniel, sweetie wait.-Keri

I ran.

I forgot about the elevator and used the stairs.

I reached the third floor and started to find any traces of Gianna's parents.

I look over my shoulder to see them sat down in the waiting area.

I rush over.

Is she okay, p-please tell me s-she's o-okay?-Daniel

Tears prick my eyes and slowly start falling from my face.

I look up to meet Gianna's moms face for the first time and she looks so lost.

like the life had been sucked out of her.

She's in surgery now. She's in critical conditions.-Camila

My parents arrived and I just walked off to the corner of the hospital.

I dropped to my knees and brought my knees up to my chest.

I put my head in my knees and started crying quietly.

We are only 13.

I love her so much, she's my bestfriend.

She wasn't one of those girls who searched for attention. No. She only searched for my attention, my approval. She's the one who got me into music. We both play the EXACT amount of instruments, and our voices together just sound amazing.

Her curly brown hair, with her big brown eyes. She was perfect.

I heard faint footsteps approaching.

I looked up to see my mom.

She dropped down to my level and just hugged me.

Momma, I'm scared. what if she doesn't make it.-Daniel

She took me out of the hug and stared at me with sadness.

Gianna's stronger than that I promise, she will make it.-Keri

I hear her whisper a "I hope"

I hear a pair of footsteps approaching in a quick manner.

we both look to see Gia's mom panting.

The d-doctors came out of surgery.-Camila

Me and my mom rushed to our feet and towards Gia's room.

The doctor just came out of her room and closed the door.

All of us plus Camilla's parents were just stood there like lost puppies trying to read the eyes of the doctor, but it was no use.

She's in a stable condition but she has being put in a medically induced coma to keep her that way. She had lost a lot of blood in the accident, as you can see mrs Jones who was also in the car suffered from minor injuries as the car struck the left side of the car.-Doctor

I stood there in absolute astonishment.

what was a medical induced coma?

what does stable condition mean?

Is she okay?-Daniel

She's in a deep sleep but yes she is okay.-Doctor

a sigh of relief washed over me, as long as she's okay.

visiting hours are nearly over, if you want to make a quick stop in her room feel free-Doctor

Mom could I go first?-Daniel

sweetie I think it's best if Gia's parents go in first-Keri

No no, he's her best friend, let him go first.-Camilla

I smiled and thanked her.

I slowly entered her room and closed the door behind me, making sure not to make a sound.

There laid the lifeless Gia, She was hooked up to all these machines and there was that faint sound of the heart monitor going on in the background.

I walked over to her side and sat down on the chair.

I took her cold hand in mine and just stared at her.

Hot liquid started falling from my face.

Just looking at her makes me feel sick.

I love you so much Gianna, I can't loose you, your my life. I couldn't ask for a better friend. Remember when I got you this bracelet for your 12th birthday and you promised you would never take it off. The passion you have for music and that care free side of you. I look forward to seeing you in school everyday. Your smile, your laugh. You made my life so much better. As soon as I heard your were in here, I told momma to rush to come see you. I can't loose you. I love you princess.-Daniel

I whispered the last part because she always loved her nickname however always wanted to keep it quiet because everyone would think we were together.

I felt her squeeze my hand, which means she's listening and she's still here with me.

I kissed her hand and stared at her in love. I love her with all my heart and I wouldn't be me if it wasn't for her.

I quietly unlaced my hands from Gia's and slipped out of her room.

I saw my parents and Gia's just sat there.

I went up to them and told Gia's parents they could go now.

We waved them off and gave our "good lucks" and "I love you's".

We got into the car in dead silence. The whole time we were sat in a tense silence.

we arrived home and just rushed into my room without speaking to anyone.

I went over and sat over on my desk.

I pulled my guitar our and started strumming on some chords.

I found a tune and started to make a song.

I finished the song I made in the space of 1 hour.

I went to bed with only one person on my mind.
