Okay okay okay okay okay. It'll be fine. I'll make new friends. I'll find someone nice...maybe.
Trying to make the best of the situation he was in, Yoongi started packing the rest of his belongings. He came across the letter Jimin had given him the day before, still in it's neat little envelope. Jimin was his best friend, the person that knew him the most. He knew the letter had something to do with him moving, but he still hadn't brought himself to read it.
I have to... if today's my last day, I should open it and go see him before I leave. Yoongi picked up the envelope, carefully tore it open, and began to read:
"Dear hyung,
I've been so glad to have you as my best friend, I wouldn't trade it for the world. We've known each other for so long, and we've gone through so much. Now that you're moving and we won't be able to see each other very often...there's something I need to tell you. I didn't tell you before because I really wanted to wait until right before you left, just because I don't know how you'll react."What the... what does he mean?
"Anyways, thank you for always sticking by me despite how weird I can get. I know you hate reading so finish your packing and come over!!
-Jimin"A confused Yoongi reread the letter's content but still had no idea what Jimin could be talking about.
Maybe he wanted an excuse for me to say goodbye in person before I leave, it's probably nothing.
Yoongi tossed the letter into one of the boxes he had for moving, along with the rest of his clothes and the various knick knacks he had still lying around his room. When he finally finished packing all of his belongings, he stood back to look at his now very empty room. Wow...this is really happening, he thought as he looked at the barren walls.
After a long sigh, he walked downstairs to start loading up the moving truck with his mother. After most of the boxes were loaded up, they both sat down on the front porch to catch their breath.
"I'll finish this up Yoongi, you should go see Jimin. I'm sure your goodbyes will take a while so you might as well get it done now," Eomma Min said with a sad smile. The boy nodded in agreement and stood up to kiss his mother on the cheek before heading out.
After a 15 minute drive, Yoongi finally made it to Jimin's house. As he walked up to the door, Yoongi couldn't help but feel a bit nervous. I still have no idea what that letter could have meant...hopefully Jimin can tell me. Yoongi took a breath and knocked on the door. Within seconds, a small orange-haired boy opened the door with wide eyes. As soon as Jimin spotted that it was Yoongi, his face lit up with a smile, turning his eyes into crescents.
"Hyung, I'm so glad you came!! I was worried you would leave without saying goodbye," Jimin said, relief written all over his face.
"Ah Jiminie why would I do that, you're my best friend. I'm not that lazy!" Yoongi said, rolling his eyes.
Jimin smiled once again, but looked slightly nervous. Of course, Yoongi didn't notice. "Whatever hyung, just come inside," the small boy said. With that, Yoongi slipped off his shoes and
walked into Jimin's home, still thinking about the reason behind the letter. What do you mean, Jimin?
