Once a spider, always a spider

Bucky liked to think he was a rather brave man. Well. He thought he wasn't easy to scare, many had tried to scare him in his time in the avengers tower- tony and Clint being the most determined, but they'd never got a reaction out of him. Not even a flinch. So no, he wasn't scared easily. However he wasn't exactly prepared to walk into the gym one night, go into the corner to get a special punching bag (one of Steve's) only to turn around and be nose to nose with an upside down Peter Parker. He dropped the punching bag and simultaneously yelled and fell backwards into his backside from the shock. Peter laughs a great booming laugh and dropped himself to the ground, giving Bucky a hand up. Bucky growled,
"You're as good as dead kid!" Before he pounced. Peter yelled in surprise and sprinted away laughing as he dodged Bucky multiple times. Eventually he was caught and hung upside down from his feet as Bucky poked him in the belly a few times.

Both tired and chuckling at the squirming, giggling boy, Bucky dropped him on the gym couch and dropped down beside him. He sighed
"You're gonna be the death of me, kid."
Peter only yawned and cuddled into his side in response. Bucky yawned and settled his head on top of peter's.
"Me too kid, let's get some kip." He mumbled.And with that they both let the warmth of the other comfort them into slumber.
