In the begining when we are no more than a thought, the universe makes room for our existence, Destiny creates a road, and fate clears a path. Then we are given a clock, it's whinded up to a certain time, a significant amount of years and when our bodies are formed with Tiny fingers and stumpy toes, the clock is placed into our chest. Ticking every day, with slow thuds, until one day it whines down to the last tick, and we have finally reached the end of the road. But what happens when you are still in the world that no longer has a plan for you, an unnatural balance, drawing a path that's not supposed to exist, creating a disturbance in the universe. What then?

Zac pours Ara water from the kitchen sink, trying to push the memories of what happened out of his head and regain his sanity. Witches, magic, peculiar wolves. It didn't seem real. But it was, Ara had been dead a couple hours ago, now she sits on the living room couch, seeming to be normal, at least from his perception.

Zac sits down next to Ara, handing her the water, she quickly takes the glass and chugs it down with one gulp.

"Wow, should I get you another cup?" He says with a small smile.

Ara licks her dry lips.

"I'm hungry, like starving," she states, before grabbing her stomach and bending over in pain. She screams before falling to the ground in a fetal position. Zac quickly drops to his knees beside her.

"What's wrong, Ara. What is happening," he says in a panic. He looks around the room as the lights start flickering and the walls start to shake, tiny little cracks appearing in the drywall, and dust falling from the ceiling. Her screams echo, ringing high pitched, bouncing off the walls. Zac grabs his ears as he also bends over in pain.

"ARA!" He screams, but it's just a muffle.

Everything slowly stops shaking as the pain soon passes and Aras screams fade, not understanding what just happened she looks at Zac in confusion, but he returns the same confused look back to her. Before either can get a word out to each other, she jumps up and rushes to the bathroom, slamming the door behind her, she falls to her knees in front of the toilet, gaging and throwing up black blood so thick it chocks her coming out. She coughs and yells out in pain once more spitting out the rest of the blood from her mouth.

Her stomach feels like it's stretching, pulling and ripping from inside, a parasite wiggling around in her intestines. She quickly lifts up her shirt to see a tiny bulge. A little bump in her stomach as if she had just eaten the whole buffet at golden corale.

"What the hell," she whispers

"Are you okay?" he says knocking on the door.

Aras eyes were wide with shock and confusion, "yes," she chocks out. "Be out in a minute."

She quickly stands up and lifts her shirt again. There was defiantly a bump. She did find out she was pregnant a few days ago, but even if by some miracle the baby had survived, she wouldn't be showing that much. It wasn't possible, Ara was dead, the baby had to be dead. She paced back in forth, mumbling words under her breath, contemplating a logical answer. But the only thing that sprung to mind was "maybe I'm just bloated," but a painful flutter in her stomach answered that question for her as she dropped to her knees in pain again. "Defiantly not bloated," she said with a grunt.

When she finally decided to come out of the bathroom, she went into the living and sat on the couch next to Zac who had been patiently waiting, Ara put her hands over his twiddling thumbs.

"I guess we need to talk, huh."

"About what?" He joked.

They both smile and look into each other eyes feeling as if they had met a lifetime ago. "Yeah, I guess we better."

"What happened?" She asks leaning more toward him.

"Well, what do you remember?"

She shakes her head, "dying."

He sat back in the couch, and thought of what to say to her, "should I lie, or tell her exactly what happened?" He didn't know what to tell her, he didn't even fully understand what had happened.

"I um, I'm not sure what happened, when we came out of the restaurant you ran off somewhere. I came home and found you here, you must have hit your head on something and passed out."

She tilts her head and gives him and expired look. "I remember dying, Zac." She says in a frown knowing he was fibbing.

"You must have had a really bad dream or,"

"Zac," Ara says interrupting his lie. "I appreciate you lying to protect my sanity, but whatever happened you can tell me,"

He sighs "it's a crazy story,"

Ara smiles, " Trust me I'll believe you,"
