Tris's POV:
I wake up with a needle in my arm. I look through the doorway and see my brother, Caleb, he explains how the serum is accelerating growth of muscle mass, and how I'll be back to my original strength in no time. After half an hour I'm able to make a fist, and then a weak punch. Pretty soon I'm able to walk around with a crutch. After an hour and a half Tobias comes to pick me up. He has a small car now so I don't need to walk far, but with the strength of a weak toddler it's quite a feat. He holds my hand the whole way to his apartment. He warns me that his mother will be living there and I say it's ok even if it does bother me a little. Once we get there Tobias picks me up and carries me the rest of the way up the stairs. I'd like to believe it's just him being sweet, but I know he thinks I'm too weak to climb stairs. He's absolutely right. We get there and he lays me on the couch with my head on his lap and strokes my hair. "My mom went out for groceries and she'll be back later." He pauses "I love you tris, and I'm never letting any of this happen to you again." He's tearing up again. Am I really this important to him? Before I can even process what was going on he's got me locked in his arms. After an hour or so of this his mother walks in. She looks shocked to see me. Did Tobias tell her about me? "Tobias, come here a minute." He lays my head on a pillow and leaves the room.
