Momo's pov
When we got back to the dorms, I took my medicine, but Zero was still pretty upset about what happened today. So, he decided to question the Headmaster again. I was standing next to Zero while Yuki was behind us. I always stand next to Zero because the Headmaster always says something that upsets, Zero.
"Why are we doing this." Zero questions, annoyed, "Come on, Headmaster, our job is to work security, not be bodyguards for celebrities!"
He slammed his fist on the Headmaster's desk, trying to show the Headmaster his point and how angry he was getting. But, unfortunately, it never really works when it comes to the Headmaster.
"I know doing this every night is hard on you, but-" Zero cut him off.
"If you're aware of that, then why don't you increase the number on the disciplinary committee!" Zero growled out
I heard Yuki gasp while I sent an apologetic smile to the Headmaster.
"All we got is this girl, and she's useless!" Zero says, annoyed while pointing his thumb at Yuki
Yuki's face went from nervous to angry in two seconds. I sighed while counting in my head.
"Three. Two. One." I thought
"I don't need to take lip from someone late all the time!" Yuki said angrily
"Yuki, you are always late," I said with my eyes narrowed.
Yuki went deadpanned for a second before lowering her head with a defeated sigh.
"That won't happen." Kaien dismissed
I already knew where this was going, and I'm not staying for that speech again.
"Before you make this little speech, I will go check if anyone is out of their dorms." Before opening it, I walked over to the window and climbed onto the windowsill, "See you, guys out there!"
I jumped out of the window and started patrolling the grounds. When I saw that it was time for the night class to go to their dorms, I decided to head to mine. On my way back, I accidentally bumped into someone.
"I-I'm sorry!" I said while quickly bowing
"Oh, Momo!" A familiar voice greeted
I looked up to see that it was Takuma Ichijo. I stood up straight and looked at the blonde vampire.
"H-hello, Ichijo," I said nervously.
He gave me a closed-eye smile.
"Heading to your dorm, huh?" He questioned
I tensed up but nodded nonetheless. My body trembled a little bit, hoping that Takuma didn't notice, but due to my luck, he did.
"I guess I'll go now. Please, stay healthy, Momo." He said, giving me a worried look
I was shocked but nodded nonetheless. Takuma smiled at me before heading back to his dorms. I ran to my dorm, thinking about what Ichijo had said. Why would he care about my health? I opened the door to see that no one had broken in or retook my stuff. I closed the door before changing into some pajamas. I crawled into the bed and immediately fell asleep.
*Next Day*
I woke up hearing the bell ring. I rubbed my eye before packing my stuff and walking out of class.
"If I don't stop falling asleep in class, I will start failing them." I thought
I put my clothes back in my dorm room before taking off towards the gates. I saw that I was the only one here, again. I sighed before holding all the girls back by myself until one of those two showed up.
