I thought of him today..... Brennen helped me get over him but somedays I wish he didn't do what he did. I woke up in tears and it turned into full on sobbing. Brennen walked in and asked what was wrong. "Just a bad dream." Lie. I said wiping my tears and smiling like I was fine.
"Hey I'm gonna head home, you good by yourself?" He said. "Yeah, of course I'll be fine"
I won't. "Ok bye baby." He said and kissed my forehead. I waited until I thought he was gone. I got up and walked to the bathroom.

I rolled up my sleeve shaking and grabbed a blade pressed it to my wrist SLICE. One for being not good enough.SLICE. Then I started crying from the pain, and I just started cutting everywhere my waist,wrist,thighs,stomach. anything to distract me from my emotions.

Brennen burst through my door right as I was walking down the stairs. He slammed the door shut. "Tana....Tana you home!?!" "Uh yea just admiring the specks of dust on the floor." I said getting up and dusting myself off. "Sorry about barging in like that." He said as he snaked his arms around my waist holding my wrists and kissing my neck. "Ow!" I screamed in pain. I immediately regretted everything right there.
"I barely touched you.... Tana what's wrong?"
I hesitated I couldn't tell him I still wasn't over the fact that Colby cheated on me with my best friend Shea and I cry myself to sleep almost every night thinking why was I not enough.
"I'm sick brennen." I said vaguely. "Ok lay down I'll get you a blanket and make you some soup an-."
I cut him off clearly knowing he didn't understand. "Not like that I have depression and when you touched me I winced because...Umm."
I hesitated knowing he wouldn't want me after I told him. "No your lying you didn't you don't do you?" He said on the verge of tears. I shook my head yes and he started bawling his eyes out.
"Show me." Was all he said. I slowly started raising my sleeves revealing fresh cuts. That's all he thought there was but oh was he wrong. I took off my shirt revealing my cuts on my stomach. I took off my pants showing him my thighs. "Why didn't I notice why, why!" He yelled
"Why..." he whispered. "It's because of him,Colby I cry myself to sleep Brennen,he's all I think about I l- love him." I said starting to cry. We decided to just sleep the rest of the day.😂
\\Next morning//
It was currently 10:34 A.M and I was driving to McDonald's to get breakfast for Brennen and I. I pull up and walk in and bump into Colby. "Oh my bad I'm so sorry-." I was cut off when I looked up and saw it was him. "Hey...Tana I missed you."
"Please don't Colby I'm doing good just to stay alive." "But I-." "If you still care don't ever let me know...please." I said wiping a single tear from my cheek. I tried to walk away but he grabbed my wrist. I winced in pain he automatically knew what it was because he raised my sleeve and he gasped. "Wh-what why." He stuttered.
"None of your goddamn business Colby you didn't care before so why now...... huh why Colby" l said making a scene.I ran to my car and sped out of the parking lot not caring about anything anymore not even the oncoming car in the middle of the intersection.
