One

I walked over to my friends table and smiled at them.

"What yall bitches want now?" I said getting my order pad out.

My friend Bonnie looked up from her menu with a stank face and scoffed.

"We want your tight ass to come to the club with us tonight." She said

I sucked my teeth and looked at her shaking my head.

"Roi you never do shit with us." She said

I sighed and rolled my eyes looking over my shoulder.

When I looked back at her she had her hands together pleading with puppy dog eyes.

"Fine." I said defeated.

She smiled and clapped excitedly.

"Great. I'll text you so your dad not all in your shit but we'll take the usual." She said handing me the menus.

I smirked and rolled my eyes walking away.

Once I put the order in I felt my phone buzzing in my back pocket and looked over to the table to see Bonnie typing away on her phone.

I rolled my eyes and chuckled as I prepared the water for their table.

Once my shift was over I grabbed my bag and ran to the old Ford Bronco my dad had refurbished for me.

I hopped in and pulled my phone out calling Bonnie.

What time should I be ready?

9:00?

Ok bye

I hung up and sped home.

When I walked in my brother was sitting at the table eating.

"Hey." He said

"Hi." I said rolling my eyes.

He smirked and stood up walking to the sink.

"You seem awfully happy." He said

"I am. Don't ruin it." I said walking up the stairs.

I went in my room and took my shoes off plopping down on my bed.

"I'm not covering for you when you get caught." He said

I scoffed and sat up.

"Caught doing what Roland?" I said

"You're going to that new club with Bonnie tonight and I'm not covering for you." He said

I chuckled and laid back down.

"When has your sorry suck up ass ever lied to daddy for me?" I said covering my eyes with my arm.

He kicked my leg and I kicked him back in his chest.

He yanked my leg and pulled me off the bed as I started hitting him in the face.

"Hey?!" We both heard daddy say.

I grabbed his throat and slammed his head making him be quiet.

"Everything is fine daddy." I yelled down to him.

I looked at Roland and flared my nose.

"If you snitch on me I'll tell daddy about all the girls you've been fucking and more specifically where." I said letting his neck go.

Roland threw me off of him and wiped his face.

"Just be safe and get home before sunlight." He said tapping my cheek.
