{BEFORE YOU READ: sorry if this sucks and is v short ok thx}
((Tani's POV))
We all sat in the waiting room, on the edges of our seats. We had no clue what happened, or even an idea. I looked over to Roger who had his head in his hands, leaning on his knees.
"Rog, he'll be okay-"
"What if he's not." Roger mumbled something.
"What?" I leaned closer.
"What if he's not okay!!!" He stood up and shouted, everyone looked over. Roger's eyes were bloodshot and his face was blotchy. Tears wouldn't stop falling from his eyes.
((Georgia's POV))
I looked up at Roger, his big blue eyes were red and puffy. Poor thing.
"Roger come here," I gently tugged on his arm.
He sat back down in the chair with me and I laid his head down on my chest. I rubbed his back and wrapped my other arm around him, holding him next to me.
"Shhh." I kissed his head as he cried,"don't cry. It'll be okay. Brian will be okay." I rested my head on top of his.
"I hope so." His raspy little voice cracked from crying. I started to cry silently.
((Tani's POV))
"Who's here for Brian?" A nurse came out after hours if waiting.
All 7 of us jumped up out of our seats and mutually yelped,"WE ARE!"
She took a step back of shock,"Well I need his family first-"
We all came forward.
"Blood related." She rolled her eyes.
"I'm his wife and this is his brother." I said and pointed to Roger.
Roger looked at me and worded,'Thank you."
"You're his brother?" She hesitated.
"Why would he lie?!" Sydnee hissed.
"Whatever, c'mon." She gestured us to follow her.
We went up the elevator and into the intensive car unit. Down the hall, we slowly walked into the doorway of Brian's room.
The nurse pulled us back out,"he's not ready. He had a traveling blood clot from the stabbing. He's going to need surgery, and he could possibly," she took a breathe,"die."
Shockingly enough, Roger was the one stayed calm, I however...fell to my knees,"No!" I gasped for air,"He can't die!!" I sobbed.
Roger helped me up and hugged me.
"Brian!" I cried out, trying to go in the room.
The nurse told me I could only see him for a few minutes before he goes into surgery.
"You can go first-" roger started to say.
"No, go ahead." I smiled.
"Are you su-"
"Roger just go." I giggled.
"Just come with me."
We both walked in.
((Roger's POV))
"Bri?" Tani whispered.
Brian's eyes flickered open and he smiled to us.
"Hi." He weakly said.
"You're gonna be alright after the surgery." Tani wiped a tear from her cheek.
"I know." Brian giggled, he reached up and wiped the tear sliding down her cheek.
They talked for a moment when Brian then looked over at me,"Hey." He smiled weakly.
"Hey," I sat next to the bed.
"I'm gonna be okay." Brian smiled.
I sighed, trying to hold my cry,"I know." I rushed before my voice could crack.
Tani got up and walked out in the hall.
"Brian," I took a breathe,"I'm sorry about the other night. I didn't mean to be like that at all-"
"Roger stop, it's okay." He hissed, then chuckling at his bitterness.
Moments later the nurse politely asked,"It's time for his surgery, go ahead and say your final words..." She continued to speak but I zoned out.
Final words. I shivered at those words.
"I love you." Tani and I said to Bri.
((A few hours later))
((Tani's POV))
We all sat in the waiting room, half awake. Finally a doctor came out to greet us.
We jumped up,"IS HE OKAY?"
The doctor spoke,"Yes. In fact, better than okay." He smiled.
We all cried in relief.
"You can't see him yet, he's sleeping still, but in a while you can. Everything went perfectly." The doctor have us a slip of paper,"Here's his proscriptions for the pain and to keep thins settled for the next few weeks." He continued to explain everything.
I only sat in my seat sobbing in relief because I knew my poodle was okay.
