Chapter 3

{Ash's POV}

We arrived at school around 8:30. I saw the same girl walk off the bus last. Some people then pushed her and she fell to the ground. They laughed and walked past her. I rushed next to her, my hand on her back. "Are you ok? They pushed you pretty hard." She looked up at me and quickly grabbed her stuff and ran away from me. "Great job Ash." I mumbled to myself.

{Zoey's POV}

Oh my god. He talked to me. He touched me. He-he made contact with me! I was still trying to process that as my heart raced while I grabbed my stuff and ran to the cafeteria. I fell again to notice my leg was bleeding, badly actually. I ignored it as I limped to the nurse's office. "What can I-Oh my god! What happened to you?!" "Um, I fell?" I said sitting down as she scrambled around for anti-biotics, band-aids and other stuff. I looked around at posters, pictures and then I noticed a boy in the back. I looked at him, blonde and black rooted hair, blue-eyed with a white v-neck, and white shoes. He looked up at me and smiled. That's when I noticed a brace on his knee. He limped towards me, "Hiya, I'm Niall. Are you alright?" he asked in what seemed like an Irish accent. Then a red haired girl walked in. "Ni-Ni I got the ice pack." she said strolling towards Niall. He kissed her on the cheek and she smiled. "Thanks love. Oh! this is, um. Whats your name?" he asked as the girl observed me. "Zoey." I said quietly. "Hi Zoey I'm Kathlieen!" she said sticking out her hand for me to shake. Of course I shook it. The nurse then put a cotton pad on my knee, it stung. "Ow!" I said as she bandaged it. "Sorry" she said.
