"You are one powerful elementalist Miss Tyde. Not many can create something of so much detail, like the puppy, nor have the power, stamina and control to maintain the cyclone for so long. Even with a small cyclone, most students here would only be able to hold it 10, 15 seconds. Some, not at all."
I stared at her in shock. "Keep coming to the class, and I'll give you some advanced work, as well as training to help you maintain your concentration," she continued. The bell went, signaling the end of class, and I nodded.
"You may all go!" Miss Brooklyn announced to the class, bringing an end to our conversation. Everyone walked out of the classroom and I followed them, deep in thought.

I walked over to my next class, hand-to-hand combat, really hoping the same thing wouldn't happen this time as it did last time. I made my way to the training field, where this class was held, and over to a group of kids surrounding a teacher. As I waited, I fidgeted, nervous. When the last student arrived, the teacher got the class started.
"Today we will be completing the monthly obstacle course. You will have to swing, dodge and fight your way through. You will be timed, and if you manage to get through in under a minute you get to pick an ice-cream flavour for them to eat!" the teacher said. Everyone looked at each other, and I thought I heard a familiar voice in the crowd.
"There are no rules, except you must make your way through each obstacle and stay on the course. You have 10 minutes to prepare. Good luck. I will be waiting with a stop watch at the end of the course."
I stood on my tip toes, trying to see a familiar face in the crowd. All I saw were the unfamiliar faces of fellow students, and I sighed. I really thought I had heard someone. I felt a hand rest on my shoulder and I turned. Standing there were Michael and Alec."Hey there," Michael said with a smile and a wave, and Alec gave me a hug. I gave a sigh of relief, happy to see people I knew in my class.
"Hey guys! What's this monthly obstacle course about? What's going on?" I asked.
"We have a monthly obstacle course to see how fit we've gotten. Well, that's the excuse Mr Terran uses. I think he just likes to see us suffer. This is the first I've heard about a reward for winning," Alec said.
"That's because Terran must've made the course impossible to complete in under a minute," Michael announced.
"True. There must be a way to beat him at his own game!" Alec said.
"So how?" I growled, angry.
"I don't know. Michael, any ideas?" Alec asked.
"I've got a plan," Michael smiled evilly.
"I reckon I'm going to like your plans," I remarked, smiling back.
After Michael told us the plan, we nodded and got into position at the starting line. "Wait! Should we try and get as many other people as we can to do it too?" I asked, "He never said it was only the first person across the line who got the ice-cream. If we can manage to get almost everyone across in under a minute, he has to provide almost the whole class with it!"
"But what about the fire and earth elementalists?" Alec asked.
"Can't the fire elementalists summon fire creatures?" Michael questioned.
Alec nodded, but reminded Michael, "What about the earth elementalists?"
Michael shook his head, at a loss. "I don't know. We don't have time for this..."
