Katherine's Therapy, 1

I go onto my toes and kiss her on the cheek then lead her to the dreaded therapy room.

Katherine's POV

We walk into the therapy room and I sit down in a seat in front of the therapist.

"Hello, Katherine... How is it going?"

"It's fine."

"So, I am told that something traumatic happened to you while you were a teenager?"

"Yes... I was 15."

"Ok. How have you handled the feelings of that event?"

"I... I run away from it. I try to pretend it never happened. I run away from my past..."

"Well, we are going to try dealing with your feelings properly to... to help you through the experience."

"I... Ok."

I didn't want to relive the experience but, I agree anyway.

"It will be painful before it will get better but, it will get better."

I don't respond and just stare at her.

"Well, Katherine, how is today going?"

"Fine. I guess."

"What time have you been getting up?"

"... Ummm... Like 7 I guess."

"When do you get to bed?"

"Ummm... I don't know like 11 at the earliest."

"Hmmm... Interesting. Well, anything else you have to say to me?"

"Not that I can think of..."

"Well, ok then. We are done for today, you can pay my secratary in the front office. I'll see you... Next week, same time?"

"Yeah... That should work."

"Ok,  well have a nice day."

"We will."

I get up out of the chair and walk back to Christina and the kids. Christina is reading something on her phone as the kids play with some small toys. Well everyone but Lisa. Lisa is sitting on the couch next to Christina playing with her phone. I speak up loudly to get everyone's attention.

"We are going home now. Ok?"

"Mhmm."

"Do we have to? I was having fun!"

"Yes Ames, we have to go, Mrs. Rachel is very busy."

"Fine."

Christina and I gather the kids and we pay for the therapy sessions. I get into the driver's seat and Christina gets into the shotgun seat.

I am so sorry for the bad chapter... I had no ideas...
