For years, I saw our world through rose tinted glasses,
I couldn't see clearly, the hurt in the masses.
Your constant negative energy,
Turned me into something unsanitary.
Why did you feel the need to blow so low?
You have no answer, that's my reason to fly solo.
I can't deal with this devastation,
I'm so sick of my heart breaking.
I've done good my whole damn life,
I deserve to feel loved, it's only right.
In your company I feel unhealthy,
In your company I feel lonely.
I can't deal with this devastation,
I'm done seeing my heart breaking.
Everything I needed, I found in you,
You kept me safe in the danger we were subjected to.
But now as I remember that cold, darkened December,
I can see the light beam so bright,
I'm no longer worried about tonight.
I can't deal with this devastation,
I'm so sick of my heart breaking.

I deserve to feel loved, it's only right.

We can go our separate ways,
Maybe I'll never see you again.
You were my today, transformed to my yesterday,
I know for a fact that you won't be my tomorrow, because I can't cope with this burdened sorrow.
