Chapter 13

They were having lunch together when Lucy suggested something to Sam.

"Sam, do you have Facebook?"

"Huh? What is that?" Sam asked confused. She never heard of Facebook before.

"Are you living under a cave?!" Lucy was surprised that her friend is left behind on social media.

Lucy showed what her talking about to Sam. 

Sam has no idea what was that but she is curious. Lucy asked her to make a profile and start using it as well. 

She happily complied with her friend's request.

Sam started updating her profile on Facebook and adding some friends.

She was amused that you can get updated by the site of your friend's social statuses. 

This was not her first time using social media but it was her second after Friendster. She stopped using it because she got bored. 

She may use it Facebook now but she is not really into it.

Sam was browsing thru her friend's profile when she got a message from Lucy.

"Hey there! tried this too. (link to another social media). Do not say no!"

Sam was amazed at how her friend knew about these things. 

She opened the link and noticed that it was a site for lesbians. 

She was shocked that her friend suggested it to her. 

She obliged in creating a profile and browse thru it.

She then noticed a profile that says: "I am still waiting for you in vain"

Her curiosity went high at this profile. Before she even checked the photos. She can't help herself but respond to the status. "I am sorry, I will be there now."

She was typing and smiling at the same time.

After that, she went back to her work and tried to finish her reports.

"So, what do you think of the new site that I gave you?" Lucy asked on their way to the lobby going home. 

"It was okay. I am just surprised that you know this stuff. I mean, you are not the kind of lingering to these sites." 

"Well, sometimes I check just for fun and meeting new people, you know."

"You better not be cheating on Lyn!" Sam said with her sharp eyes looking at Lucy.

"Of course not! I deleted my profile there a long time ago. I just remember it, then remember you. hihi!!"

"And why?" Sam asked.

"Well, I guess it's time for you to meet somebody else. right?"

"So you want me to hook up?" Sam said raising her voice.

"If you want to, haha!!" Lucy laughed as if she was being tickled.

"You are crazy. I am sure but I will check on it." Sam said and kissing Lucy's cheek as she goes inside the cab. 

"Take care and please give my regards to your family," Lucy said waving her hands.

 Sam is going home to her parent's house. She promised her nephew and niece that she will spend the weekend with them since it is the first birthday of her niece, Lijah.
