Assurance || Yugyeom x Reader {NOT COMPLETED}

All Smiles

We got to the house that we were renting for the summer and oh my was is AMAZING! The place was like a mansion, I couldn't believe my mom could afford it.

"You like it?" My mom said as she walked in after me.

"How did you get this?" I asked in aw

"The company I'm here for, they wanted to make our stay as comfortable as possible. I think it's just a tactic to get me to do business with them since I still haven't signed the papers." She said laughing

"Never sign them if it means we get to come here every summer!" I said wandering around.

I looked into one of the bed rooms and saw all my bags so I assumed that this was my room. I went to unpack some of my stuff and organize a little bit more when my mom called me from the kitchen.

"Tomorrow you will go with me to the meeting to be my translator so we will have to get up at 6:30 to get there. Dress nice!"

Wow my first full day in Korea and I won't even be able to sleep in, Oh well. I looked in my bags to find something nice to were. I picked out a light blue dress and an off white cardigan to wear with it.

I got most of my stuff unpacked when I heard me mom yell that dinner was ready. I got up and ran down stairs i hadn't eaten all day.

I walked into the kitchen and I saw that my mom had made us ramen from a bag. Even though we were staying in a million dollar house my mom still makes us instant ramen. I can't say I'm surprised.

My mom walked over to the silverware drawer and pulled out two things of plastic forks. I walked up behind her and said chuckling

"Really mom we are in Asia and we are eating ramen, we are using chopsticks."

"I don't know how. I'd rather just eat my food." My mom said waking away with her plastic fork.

I grabbed to pairs of chopsticks and walked after her. I placed a pair of chopsticks in her bowl and then sat down across from her.

"It's really easy honestly just hold the. Like this and you just have to move your fingers like this" I said showing her how to use the chopsticks.

She tried but didn't grab anything. We both laughed and she tried again but she dropped the noodles. This went on until our ramen got cold but we didn't mind because we were having fun. It was the first time since my dad left that me and my mom really had fun together.

Okay so you remember how I said they all would be longer... well okay this one is short but the next one is like really long so hopefully that makes up for it.
