Chpt. Two

Leah's POV

I grab my lime green suitcase from the luggage return. "Leah!" I hear someone from behind me. I turn around and see my aunt walking towards me. "Hey!" I smile while giving her a hug. If you expected me not to talk; I don't think I could handle that.

"Do you have any Australian money? All I have is American." I "uehehehdhehask. She pulls out $200 and we trade. "Let's get some food, yeah?" She asks pointing towards a burger king across the street. "Who doesn't love Burger King?" Like really? Who doesn't?

We walk in the place and it's a little crowded. We make it to the front and place our orders. "Can we get two cheeseburgers ketchup only, please?" She asks. We both know each other so well. We grab our drinks which are obviously Root Beer. We sit down at an empty booth and wait for our orders.

When Aunt Ally goes to get our food, I whip out my phone and get on Instagram. I snap a picture of me facing the streets and caption it 'Wow. Sydney is amazing!' I post it. When Aunt Ally comes back I stick it back into my pocket and take a sip of my drink.

"Thanks Aunt Ally." I say as she hands me my food. "Hey! Call me Ally!" She smiles. I chuckle at her little comment. She is so funny sometimes. "So, school starts next week for you. Make sure you're ready." She says seriously. I nod my head and bite into my burger.

Once we finish our meals we head out to the car. I climb into the passenger seat and buckle in as we pull out of the lot. Ally explains to me how we have neighbors that really want to see me. She told them that I was coming so I didn't think it was creepy.

We pulled into the driveway and got out. She unlocked the door while I dragged my suitcase across the pavement. When the front door clicks open, I drag my suitcase inside and place it by the door. "So, where's my room? I kind of can't wait to sleep." I point towards the staircase. She nods and motions me to follow.

I grab my suitcase and trudge up the stairs. When I reach the top, Ally slightly giggles and opens a door for me. I walk in and smile. My room is neon pink. There is a queen sized bed in the middle of the room, but the headboard is against the wall. The covers and blankets are a cute lavender color and the pillows are light pink. I drop my bag and slump down onto the bed. "Whoa! This is comfy!" I smile. "I knew you'd like it!" She cheers.

"Now, go aroumd town and explore! It is quite amazing here." She orders playfully. I nod my head and shoo her out of the room. I'm still in my plane clothes so I have to change. I grabbed a light teal tank-top that says pink, a pair of white shorts, and a pair of sandals. I grabbed some nail polish and painted my nails bright pink. My toe-nails are already a light purple color.

I walked into my bathroom and got dressed. I put on some Maybeline Dream Fresh BB Cream and combed out my hair. I put my teal hair up into a messy bun-type-thing and added a bow to the front of it.

Lastly, I put on my favorite Baby Lips Dr. Rescue - Too Cool. I grab my phone and stuff it in my back pocket along with $50.

I give a quick hug to Ally and head out the door. It's summer here so it's very hot. I walk down the street a bit and see a park full of kids. I decide on just sitting on the swings. It seems peaceful. As I start to walk over to the swings a little girl, about seven, comes up to me and tugs on my shirt.

"Um, miss? Can you fwench bwaid my hair?" she asks u=in a cute little accent. "Sure! Here sit down." I say sitting down. She sits down in front of me and hands me a comb. Her hair is long so I guess I can. I start combing through it and once all the knots are out, I start to French braid her hair.

5 Minutes Later...

"There! All done!" I smile she turns around and feels the braid with her little hand. "Thank you!" She says in the cute little voice, as she attacks me in a hug. "No problem! What's your name?" I ask. "My names Callie." She says pointing at herself. "Well, Callie, I'm Leah." I say pointing to myself.

She says she has to go home and hugs meone more time. We both say bye and I sit on the swings. I pull out my phone to check Twitter. Oh my waffles! I have 2k followers!! No way! I have this thing that allows me to follow whoever follows me back without even trying to do anything. So it's automatic.

"OMG! It's her!" I heard someone whisper from behind me. I turn around and see two girls. "Hi. Who am I, exactly?" I ask smiling. "You're Leah! From 'LeahTheGreat' on YouTube!" She cheers.

"Oh, yeah! Are you a fan?" I ask. "OMG! Yes! You have an amazing voice! Anyway, we have to go now. Could you follow us?" She asked. I nod my head and she gives me their YouTube's.

My phone starts playing my cover of 'Really Don't Care' by Demi Lovato. I hit accept and Aunt Ally's voice rings through the other line.

"I'm at the market would you like anything?" She asks. "Um...yeah! Some chocolate is good. Oh, and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough ice cream from Ben & Jerry's. Thanks." I say as we both hang up. I unlock my phone and flick through my apps until I get to Instagram. I flick through everything until I get bored.

I lock my phone and shove it into my back pocket. I get up from the swings and just wander around until I reach a pond. I sit down on the grass facing the water. As I sit there just humming to myself I get a text.

To: Leah

I'm home :) Come get your chocolate and Cookie Dough ice cream!

From: Ally

I text her a quick 'on my way' before I jumped up. Little did I know, someone was behind me. And guess what? I fell into the pond! "Oh my god! I'm so sorry! I'm such an idiot!" he says. He helps me up and apologizes like, a million times.

"Dude, chill. It's cool." I assure him. I look at his face and pinch his cheeks. "You got a squishy little face, don't ya?" I smile. He chuckles and I just pat his cheeks. "I gotta go. See ya." I wave. He says a quick 'goodbye' and I start walking to the house.

"Honey, I'm Home!" I yell as I fling open the door. Right as I shut the door the smell of chicken hits me. "CHICKEN!" I yell as I run to the kitchen. Ally is busy making chicken and throwing in spices and that stuff.

* After Dinner *

Today has been eventful. After dinner I took a shower. Oh, and now I'm eating ice cream watching Modern Family in the basement. It's actually a really cool Leah Cave. Maybe I'll just go to sleep here...my ice cream is all gone and I'm too lazy to get up. Yep....sleeping in a Leah Cave.
