King POV

I finished putting the shells in my shotgun when I heard a scream of pain to my right. I looked over to see Boss, clutching his left arm. Stubborn bastard. I ran over to him and hooked my arms under his armpits, and dragged him back towards Ela and Grace.

"What happened?" Grace asked frantically.

"Caught one in the arm. Wrap it up, the round went through just above my elbow." Boss's voice was strained as he stood up.

"I told you not to get shot again fratre," Mario joked from behind.

"Shut up, Blin. I need some vodka blyat." I happily obliged and put a bottle into Boss's hand. Teo, who had shown up with Annika at the last minute, wrapped the wound up.

"You were not shot by a soldier, the wound is much to large for a normal assault rifle round. I say .308 and above," Teo inquired.

"So you're saying I was hit by a sniper?"

"Correct. It seems he was only targeting you though, as no one else had fallen to sniper rounds." Teo scratched his bald head and looked around the area.

"I do recall having bullets hit the ground near Boss as I was dragging him. Nowhere close to me," I said. This only puzzled us more.

??? POV

"You know I don't like failure?" The modulated voice spoke into my radio.

"Yes sir, it was my mistake. It will not happen again."

"You will succeed. Or I will have your head Sabrina."

Third person POV

Boss sat on a cot, Teo putting a sling on his arm. Once he was finished, Boss got up and walked over to King, who was standing at the spot Boss was shot, holding a pair of binoculars.

"Look, there," Boss pointed to the top of a cliff two hundred yards away. "That is most likely the spot where the sniper hit you."

"Hmm. Why was I being targeted?"

"Maybe you've pissed some people off after twenty eight years."

"True. Well, all this standing isn't putting vodka into me. Let's go have a drink."

I nodded and followed him into the cove, being greeted by a whole bottle.

Y/N POV

"Son, when are you leaving?" My father asked.

"Soon. I was lucky they let me visit."

"Y/N, are you sure you want to fight in the army? It's dangerous," My mother said. She was always worrying about me.

"Yes, mother. I have to serve my country. In fact, I'm being transferred to the Spetsnaz soon."

"Just like your father." My father also was in the Spetsnaz, and he served on the second world war. He fought at Stalingrad.

I looked around the bustling mall we were in, taking in the sights. My eyes drifted to a suspicious looking guy who had just dropped a backpack next to a pillar. I got up and started walking towards him, ignoring my parents. My hand drew my Makarov pistol and I pointed it at the man.

"Stop! Put your hands in the air!" The man stopped and looked at me. He had a weird sort of white mask on his face. His hands went slowly up, but his left hand was clutching something. It was blinking red. A detonator.

I put three rounds into him, throwing him to the ground. The one thing I didn't think about, a dead man's switch.

The bomb went off. The last thing I remembered was a burning pain through my body. Then darkness.

I jolted up from my bed, sending pain through both of my gunshot wounds. I rubbed my head and grabbed my bottle next to me. It was better being drunk asleep then asleep. The vodka sent a warm feeling through my body, numbing my mind. My mind started slipping into sleep when a pair of hands clasped around my throat. I grabbed the wrist of the attacker and started to thrash around, throwing me off the bed. I took that small chance and stood up, being greeted by a punch to my arm. I recoiled from the pain and heard suppressed gunshots. My chest exploded into pain, and I fell to the ground. The attacker picked up a pipe and raised it above my head. I didn't feel anything as they brought it down.

Then everything went black.

A/N: How many cliffhangers am I gonna add you may ask? *laughs quietly*
