Jaon was almost always in a bad mood since they left, he never wanted to admit it, but those two dragons were the two most important beings in the world to him, along with his sister of course.
"Sorry, I just can't wait to find exceeds, so I don't have to walk on my feet anymore!"
Exceeds were cat-like creatures that had wings and were companions with dragonslayers, that's what they heard at least.
"Just be quiet and walk. The nearest town is only 12 kilometers from here". (As for some readers who might not know the equivalent, 12km is about 7.5 miles) Once they got to their hotel and settled in, Jaon went to the balcony. One of the few things that made him happy was photography. He didn't have a camera just yet but he took pictures with his eyes as he would say.
"There is a guild in this town, how cool!" Lizzie said with genuine excitement.
"It's called Fairy Tail"
Joan's eyes went wide. He had heard of this guild.
There were dragonslayers there. He always wanted to fight one besides his sister.
He wanted to fight.
