4. The Chunin exam.

I watched you excel during the exam, as well as the girls.I felt the tensions in their stares as they watched my eyes.

was my Sharingan showing?

I couldn't tell. but I gather my information as swiftly as possible  and finished my work in time.  watching closely to see if you had caught on. Itachi had explained this to us, thoroughly as he could; I know it pains you to think of him. But do not let go of his teachings.they can help you through a lot .

When we were in the forest, I met a slender fellow with long hair and distant eyes. he tried to take my scroll from me. I was nervous at first, but I had to fight. and so I did.

I couldn't kill him, though. he ran afterwards, but as I walked onward, I thought I heard your cry. I grew in panic. my heart wanted me to se you, but my mind told me to stay where I was. this is an exam,you aren't apart of my team.

But you were my brother, so I went to see your condition. Sakura stayed up throughout the night. poor thing, she was worried about you and your friend.  I watched her drift off and in as she stayed watch. I can tell her body was not ready for this kind of thing-to stay on watch all by yourself. So,I hid in the shadows and watched you rest and awaken.

Sasuke, what I saw in you.. it wasn't you. I saw bloodlust in your eyes. your chakra changed as you got more and more thirsty. was this what that man had done to you? he turned you into...into a monster. I had heard that boy's cry. heard that boy's bones snap.  Then you pointed those savage eyes at me-and I grew back into the girl I once was. the little girl who was afraid of you.

"C'mon out, we were just having a blast." you said to me, but I couldn't move. my body  was shaking so bad that I didn't know what to do. I couldn't believe what I was seeing.

was that really the same Sasuke,I loved one before?

when it was time for the quarter finals,I watched you with close guard. I wanted to see how much you've grown since we were children.

you lust lashed at your opponent and caused you injuries. I wanted to see you,but Aki-sensei stopped me.

He had to told me. And I did. I fought and advanced to the finals- I was a step closer to meeting you,Sasuke.

But when I saw you fighting Gaara of the Sand. I felt something very uncomfortable. it was like something bad was coming. I held my breath as you fought Gaara,and took your lost very hard. I quickly ran off; lying to Aki-Sensei about going to the rest room and followed you. That was when the village was being attacked.

I could've sworn,I saw him floating around here. I hope I was wrong.
