Uzume woke up to the sound of feet. Her hands were on her chest and she could feel the cushion of her bed on the back. She was home. Alone. With no one here but her and Shiro. Turning over, she had seen a letter sitting on her nightstand.
Uzume
I love you more than anything. that will never change. I want to be there to see you happy, but I can't.
you know the reason why. I have to feel hate, or else I'll never accomplish my dream. I hope someday you'll forgive me, but just do me a favor: Stop looking for me. stop following me. stop taking all my hate away. Just.Leave.Me.Alone.
-Sasuke
Uzume felt her heart give up on her. He wanted her to just give up on him. Her?! The same girl who dreamed of setting him happy, of seeing him smile again. She had loved him, and she though he had loved her too. Before she knew it,Uzume had began to sob.
This pain she felt was like a stab wounds to her chest. She buried her face into her pillows-and cried.
Days had passed, Uzume stayed in her home and continued to feel depressed. Her eyes were dry now from all crying and reading over the letter. He had loved her, but he wanted her to had also wanted her to hate him. Was hate going to build up his strength?
She sighed and took a good look at herself in the mirror. She looked like hell: long hair growing longer were in fact frizzy. Her face was pale, her eyes looked dry and puffy. There were where ashy white marks on her body, bruises that have yet to fade away from her didn't with Taka member Karin.
Should I felt hatred too?
She thought to herself while scrubbing herself clean of the scent of Sasuke and the dirt she seemed to have.captured when the two bathed in the cavern.
"I'm such a fool." She says to herself while looking up at the showerhead. the water felt enchanting over her face and trickling down her scalp.
While wrapped in her towel,Uzume left the bathroom smelling like passion fruit. She wore her a top that stopped at her belly button, on the back was the infamous fan. The Uchiha symbol. Her hands were taped with black tape and her belt was armed with Kunais,Shuriken, and needles. Her haur was tied back into a high ponytail, minus the fringes that cornered her face. This girl didn't look like the same 17 year old, she was when before she reunited with her best friend. this girl was heartbroken.
"Don't even think that I'll let you get to Itachi before I do." She snarled before entering her closet room and sliding her down to the floor and pulled open a large brown box with kanji marked down the centre.
Uzume's sacred dance..
"Sacred...Dance?." She sounded puzzled, but it didn't change her mind to open the box. She remembered her father siding something about this very box.
"take this box and do not open it until you are ready for what is to come. No Uchiha will live a life that I wanted best for you."
Her eyes had burned as she remembered hearing what had happened. Itachi's cold red eyes staring into hers as he carried her away. Now that she thought about it, his eyes were filled with a sudden feeling in them. His heart beating rapidly was what made her sleep that night. But she thought carefully to herself. Then it had all caved in on her, like a building coming down,or a small pile of rocks raining around her.
Itachi was in love with her.
That was why he wanted her to be strong. so that he could love her and forgive him for his actions.
