Your Pov

Why are they staring at me like that, I'm in an operating room. Who's that?...It's me?

I looked down at my pale body, the giant wound on my back was being sealed, but I looked around l and saw the trail of blood. Is it all mine?

I walked down the hall and I saw Kid there, his head was low and his hair looked greasy, His suit jacket looked poor and his tie loose.

I sat next to him and hugged him, but my hands went right through him. I sighed and kept walking until I saw Blackstar, Tsubaki, Soul, Maka, and Mr. Spirit at the front desk.

"Blackstar!"I went to give him my regular greeting, but obviously my hand had went through. Tsubaki seemed worried, Blackstar was confident as usual, Soul seemed laid bavk as usual yet kinda unusual at the same time, Maka had teary eyes, and Mr. Spirit wouldn't stop crying.

This was all my fault for being reckless, I walked back over to Kid. "Hey Y/n."I jumped could he see me?

"Yea Kid?" I asked just in case he could.

"I'm out here in the waiting room for you, so make sure you just focus on coming back to me, because I don't think I can survive without you. You and me, we've never been good with distance and I don'tthink I can be apart from you for that long." So he couldn't here me.

"Kid...I love you. I'll be there soon so keep waiting. Also I promise I'll tell you I love you when I wake up, so hold on." I sat in the chair next to him,my eyes slowly closing and then I was out.

Kid's Pov

I was ecstatic when the doctor greeted me with a big smile. "Y/n's surgery was a success! You can go see here now, but she's not awake yet." I hugged him.

"Thank you so much." I pulled away and he smiled.

"Although you should freshen up in the washroom." He smiled then walked away.

After doing the best I could in the bathroom I walked in to see, the gang smiling and then Maka looked back at me. "We'll give you too some space." Maka smiled and they all exited.

"Hey Y/n." I started and I could see her squint her eyes and I jumped. "You were awake while they were here right?"I asked and she smiled

"Yea Kid." She began to sit up than winced lying back down. "Oww my back hurts." She pouted.

"Because you have 33 stitches in it." He smiled and she smiled back. I don't know if you hdard me or not, but I'm glad you made it back." I smiled and she looked away from me and changed her direction toward the window.

"Kid...I love you. Thanks for waiting for me, you held on so I'm keeping up to my promise." She smiled.

"Promise?"I asked.

"I promised that if you were here when I woke up I'd tell you I love you." She smiled I couldn't help but laugh.

"You're such a kid."I laughed.

"Am not!" She pouted.

"I love you too." I laughed, I leaned over and kissed her head. "Now get some sleep I'll be back in the morning." I left with my smile.

My best friend is love with me...
"About time you admitted it kid. You loved her since you were about 2 right?"Blackstar laughed and I just glared then sighed.

"Your right, it is about time." With that we went home for the night to rest at ease.
