I wake up to see Master smiling at me. "Ready to make some money Mutt?" I have no response. I'm still thinking about yesterday. I wonder if it was all a dream. I saw Joey behind Master, he was frowning at me. That's how I know it wasn't a dream. Joey was training my brother to be a dog fighter as well. I guess they wanted to see which one of us was ready. "Get in the box Mutt. We are going to be late, and that means another whipping!" Master screams. Even with Master screaming I can barely hear him. I'm lost in my own thoughts. The only thing I hear from him is "Get in the box, whipping!" I quickly get in the box, and hopes to not get whipped. They quickly close the box and tape it up. I get a déjà vu feeling, then realize it. I'm in the same state as when I first came here. Getting pushed around inside the box, barely being able to breathe. It's was possibly the worst 20 minutes of my life. Well, not exactly. When we got there, Master opened the door with a greedy smile. "We're here Mutt!" Master says with a low, mean voice, not like his usual voice. I look up, I'm in a dark alley way, no one to hear my yelps or barks. All I can do is shake in fear. I never liked the darkness. It was eerie, scary, mysterious. After a while my eyes adjusted to darkness. In the alley way, I see people in a circle rooting. Master says "Mutt! Come!" I follow him. While we are trying to get through the circle of people I hear Master say to all of them. "Step away folks. Your champion has arrived." Everyone stops, and stares. After a while there is silence. And then I hear laughter, a ton of laughter. I hear people saying "REALLY?! THAT TINY THING COULD NEVER BEAT THE REAL CHAMPION!" While they are laughing, I somehow make it into the center of the circle. I'm terrified to see dead dogs everywhere. Almost filling the entire circle. The only things alive in this circle is me, and a huge German Shepherd, which was at the moment was glaring at me. I know what I must do. I must fight and kill The Champion.
Hello! This is the author! Before I let you guys leave I just want to say that by no means am I picking on the German Shepherd species. I think they are beautiful dogs, and I even want one when I get older! So please do not think I am hating on German Shepherds because there will be other species of dogs that Mutt must fight, it's just that I planned The Champion to be a German Shepherd. Once again I am not picking on the German Shepherd species! Anyways, enjoy the rest of the story! :)
