Run

I felt the trickle of sweat run down my spine.Every minute kept passing by and without a single doubt I stretch my leg over the edge. The running fever had reached my brain as I tried to not look back.the wind solemnly passing by.My hands gripped the jagged wood.I breathed heavily and kept whispering to myself,as if to make the action a little better.I ignored my nitpicking comments and tried to hear each creek the house made as I scurry over the wooden fence.

My body weight shifting as each leg went over. For a split second I stopped and looked down at the floor.Doubts had fogged my mind as my eyes stare down at the clear ground below. But with everything I leaped onto the cold asphalt. Any thought would have been pointless. The damage had been made and all was left was to get what I wanted. What I needed.my ears rang as I heard a door slam shut,I pressed my body against the fence and waited for the noise to come back.I waited for the scream of my name,or the backtrack sarcastic comment of my existence.Yet nothing appeared, nothing except for a small sigh and footsteps going away.My body flinched as the door slowly creaked shut.I felt myself soon slouch down against the wood.

I looked up to the stars, each aligned in a certain order. Each shinning brighter than the other.I watched myself pray for a god that hadn't existed.A god that no human soul could ever hear.Gently closing my eyes as each car passed by the street."For her..do it for her" I muttered to myself as I made my down the street of no end. Each house kept its visual yet placed with a dark impression of what it truly was.My mind finally comprehended my own escape,as I look back at the empty house.I knew I made my own path.
