"I'll do it." "Perfect!" Shuri exclaimed. Shuri left the room and shut the door behind her.
Nemo threw a questioning look towards Daisy. She shook her head and mumbled something about contacting the king. Shuri popped her head back in and beckoned everyone out, she gestured to a lift.
Once everyone was in she pressed the button for the roof, it was silent as they went up. The only noise was that of the metal creaking and the casual shuddering of any lift.
Once they reached the top they all stepped out and took in the sun, Nemo was confused as to why they were on the roof and was about to voice his concerns when his questions were answered. Shuri had touched her fingers to something on her wrist and an almost silent beep had followed.
Nemo's jaw dropped as he took in the alien-like craft that appeared before them. Shuri and Daisy entered through the open door as if it was an everyday occurrence and disappeared round a corner. It took Peter and Nemo slightly longer to adjust, but soon enough they too were entering the ship.
They found themselves in a more open part of ship and gawped quite openly at the technology around them.
"Boys! Take that look off your face before you get stuck that way. Now buckle up before you end up as bug splatters on my windshield." Shuri called backwards as she readied the ship for take off.
Peter helped Nemo out of his wheelchair and into a seat before sitting next to him and buckling himself up.
Shuri was casually talking as she was setting up the craft for take off. "Did you know Wakanda was responsible for the Berlin Wall coming down?" Shiro mentioned as she flipped a switch and the ship lurched up.
Nemo couldn't tell if it was a brag or just her version of simple small talk. Nemo looked towards Peter before looking out of the window, he noticed that they were flying back over the city towards the Avengers facility.

Shuri dropped them off at the Avengers facility with a wink and a promise to come back once everything was ready. Peter waved as the ship and took off and then turned to wheel Nemo back inside. Peter noticed the sullen look on Nemo's face but decided that other boy needed space. Apparently his boyfriend had other ideas because he spoke up.
"I'm going to be right there with you, you know." Peter stopped pushing Nemo's wheelchair, as if sensing Peter's next question he continued to speak. "I know that I can't physically be there with you, for obvious reasons" Nemo paused to gesture to his legs as Peter laid a hand on his shoulder. "But I'm going to be there with Shuri, I'm going to be there watching to make sure you don't end up de-ad." Nemo's voice cracked as he said the last word.
Peter leaned down and draped his arms around Nemo's shoulders, said boy rose his arms to hold Peter's wrists. Peter turned his head and spoke into Nemo's neck. "We've survived Daniel once before, I'm sure we can do it again. But this is my chance to make you better and there's no way that I'm not taking it." Nemo hummed in response, he let go of Peter's wrists to show that he was ready to go inside.

The boys spent the rest of the day catching up on homework and once that was done, they began packing so they could go back home.
Tony hadn't kicked them out exactly, he had just gently mentioned that they were well enough to go home. Of course the boys were anxious to get back to their beds, but Nemo couldn't help but wonder how his disability was going to effect his life.
Peter tried his best to console him but Nemo couldn't stop the feeling of dread in his stomach. He had already seen his family since the 'accident' so it wasn't like he was worried about them. He brushed it off as being concerned about Peter's mission, but he knew deep down it wasn't about that.
It was evening when Tony finally waves bye to them with Pepper by his side as Happy drove them home. Nemo was dropped off first and Peter hugged him bye with a promise of texting that night.
Then Peter was dropped off several minutes later where Aunt May hugged him for a solid ten minutes and wouldn't let him go until he had a good meal down him. He finally detached himself form May and reached the sanctity of his room, he flopped down into his bed just as he heard his phone ping.
He twisted to teach where it was in his back pocket and brought it up to his face expecting to find a text from Nemo. Instead he saw:
Shuri 👑 Mission is on Friday lover boy , be ready. Delivered 9:37pm
Peter quickly replied:
I will be, Princess. Delivered 9:39pm
