8.00am
Goodbye Husband, See you dear,
I do hope the trains are running clear,
9.00am
Get the children off to school,
Everyday as is the rule,
9.30am
Finished breakfast, washing up,
Got to tidy the rest of the house up,
11.00am
Put my feet up, cup of tea,
Watch the telly, Peggy Lee,
12.30pm
Eat my lunch with my friend,
Chatter, Gossip, It never ends,
2.00pm
Get the car out, drive to town,
Do the shopping, carry it round,
2.30pm
Meet my Lover, drive to his,
I'm glad my husband doesn't know this,
4.00pm
Kids come home and watch TV,
Homework forgotten, don't listen to me,
6.30pm
Husband's home, tea is served,
Food all eaten, washing up spurned,
10.00pm
Kids in bed, He's asleep,
All lights out, count the sheep.
