"I always get what I want."
The words swirled through my mind. It was true, he did always get what he wanted. There was no use in fighting it, but I was not going down like that.
Our dimly lit streets were crowded, bodies skimming around each other. Chatter echoing off the walls, bring underground tended to amplify everything.
Talia was boring on about something trivial while I paced beside her mindlessly.
After I had left Dela Cruz Zayn immediately found me, worried I had been shot. Once scanning me over finding I was indeed just fine, he took me to his apartment and allowed me to stay with him.
As soon as I woke up, Talia wanted to go get breakfast. So here we were bustling down the sidewalk, heading to wherever she had her mind set to.
"So Jenna said that Dominique practically had her tongue down, Jensen's throat." Her voice babbling on about some random people at the after party last night. "You should have been there, Ray!" She giggled tugging my arm into the restaurant she had chosen.
"Well, certainly hate I missed that." Muttering to her as the waitress led us to a table. Her sigh escaped her lips, eyeing me warily.
"You know, you've been acting so weird lately." Her accusation wasn't a lie. I had been, even I had noticed. I shrug in response, looking down at the menu.
Thankfully she dropped the subject at my silent response. "The Prince was there." Her eyes scrutinizing me from across the table.
"Oh, was he?" Another dull response, had the girl before me pushing the subject further. Honestly I wasn't surprised he was there. Harry did love to party, it was his kind of atmosphere.
"He was rather interested in you and Zayn's relationship." The information causing me to shoot my eyes up to her brown ones. "Now I've got your attention." Her smile was bright, but a panic feeling twisted my stomach.
"You spoke to him?" Gasping out, I drop the menu to the table. Rage bubbling inside me, I forced myself to calm down.
That son of a bitch! Not only was he threatening me, now he was involving my friends. The nerve.
"He approached me, I mean he's the Prince. I couldn't not talk him." Her giggle of excitement made my stomach turn, and suddenly I wasn't hungry anymore. "He was so polite, Ray." The gushing passing her lips was utterly sickening.
She didn't know the real him, that much I knew. I mean he was dangerous before, but now he was stark mad with power.
"And my god was he sweet!" Each word she spoke had my stomach flipping. "That man is definitely charming." I had to stifle my eyes from rolling out of my head.
"I need to go to the bathroom." I spoke quickly, not wanting to hear the rest. I scurried off, making sure she couldn't see me. I hurried out of the front door. I just needed air.
God! That arrogant asshole was out of his mind. How could he do this to me? Oh wait! Because this is Harry Edward Styles we're talking about. He was a utter lunatic, which has only gotten worse over time. That fuckboy needed serious medication.
During my pacing of the sidewalk and my ranting in my head, I didn't see the pair of hands grasping me. Before a sound of surprise left my mouth, one hand clamped down on my lips.
"Shhhhh." A familiar voice cooed next to my ear. "Relax,Ray Ray." That nickname, only one person used that nickname.
I jerked roughly away from the body holding me. Spinning around the sight confirmed my thoughts exactly.
