Xavier's  p.o.v.

Beep Beep Beep

I was awaken by my stupid alarm. I slowly opened my eyes to only see Jayla wrapped in my hands. She cuddled up against me with her face barried in my chest. I slowely unwrapped my hands and got off the bed without waking her up and went to shower.

After putting on my clothes which is a black polo shirt , a danen jeans and some jordans. I left a note on the bed for Jayla and left to work.

*At work*

2:26pm

"Hey Xavier, boss wants to meet you." I nobbed my head and went to the office.

"Hey boss ." I said closing the door behind me.

"Hey.....here this is your paycheak. " He said handing me an envelop.

"Thanks"

"And one more thing. I have to let  some workers go today. I'm sorry but I have to let you go."

When he said that its like all the colours drained from my face. I nobbed my head and walked out the office. How the fuck am I going to pay the bills now. I got in my car and drove off to visit Alyssa.

*At the hospital*

I walked in and kissed my grandma on her cheaks.

"Hey ma how she doing ."

"She is ok she woke up this morning the doctor said she will get to go home tomorrow . You could go see her if you want."

I nonbed my head and smiled.

"Ok sure ." I said and walked to Alyssa's room

I entered the door and closed it behind me. She was sitting up on the bed watching cartoons.

"Hey you good" I asked standing next to her bed side. She watched up at me and smiled,

"Xavier" she said holding out her hands to hug me. I chuckled and hugged and kissed her forehead.

"I'm good " she scooted over and patted the empty side for me to sit down.

We chilled and laughed till she fell asleep . My sister is really my joy. I got out the bed carefully trying not to wake her up .

"Hey grandma I'm leaving a got to do something." I said kissing her cheak.

"Ok baby."

I got in my car and drove off . It was 5:46 maybe I could talk to Rashawd about getting back in the game.

"Hey Que is boss here ." I asked him he was smoking a blunt while flirting with some hoe.

"Hey he in his office." I nobbed my head and walked up to his office and knocked on the door before entering.

"Hey boss."

"Hey boy what brings you here."he asked and I sat on the chair.

"Look I need a job cause I don't have any so I want to get back in the game for good this time."

"Only because I trust you ."

"Thanks man."

"Alright here give Que this on your way out" he said handing me an envelop. I nobbed and left the office.

"Hey Que boss said to give you this." I said sitting down on the couch . He nobbed and took it.

"What you come here for." he asked handing me a blunt.

"I am back in the game." I said . He chuckled,

"Coming with me to go by Sandra." he asked standing up I shock my head.
