14: Frightening memories

My eyes popped open, i looked around and panicked as i saw a hospital room around me, my hands gripped the beds edges as the lights started flickering. Screaming was heard and i could hear the laugh of the nogitsune, i could only repeat the one sentence on my mind "No,no,no,no..." The words merely hushed whispers, i got up and went to a mirror.. my eyes held bags under them and i examined myself until out of the corner of my eye i saw the figure wrapped in bandages.

"Whens a door not a door?"

"When its ajar...."

"Everyone has it but no one can lose it."

"I-i dont know.-"

"ANSWER ME!"

He kept screaming until i finally broke and muttered "A shadow..." He gave a crooked smile, he walked a little closer and asked "They try to beat me, they try in vain. And when i win, i end the pain." My breath hitched, i could feel the cold air from the nogitsune's mouth until he grinned saying "Tick tock Stiles, im waiting."

I closed my eyes shot as i tried to hold back the tears, the pure feeling of fear exploding like a bomb inside me as i muttered

"Death."

My eyes shot open and i lifted off the bed as fast as possible, my breathig was rapid and i could feel some cold sweat starting up. Allison, Lydia, Scott, Jacob, Seth, Willow, Malia, Scarf boy and Riley all sat in the room, they jolted awake at my outburst and they lookedbat me with worry. Willow shot up off her chair and stood in front of me with crossed arms saying "Nightmare?"

I looked away growling "Im fine... It was nothing." 

Willow narrowed her eyes and turned to Allison saying "Does he look tired to you?" Allison nodded as concern filled her eyes, she got up and asked "Stiles, are you sure your okay?" Willow scoffed speaking to Allison but looking me dead in the eye "Dont be soft with him. It wont get you anywhere."

I growled and said "Im fine Willow."

She snorted sassily responding with sarcasm "Yeah and i feel great after almost dying. Lets go grab a cup of tea even though you look frigtened enough to shit your pants. I know your not okay Stiles, that pack dont know you well enough if they couldn't catch onto your lie." I glared at her but Scott butted in, he had become a lot more nice recently "You lied Stiles? Were brothers, i thought you wouldn't lie... we could have helped-" i laughed at simply the word help, i looked at him saying "Yes of course, Scott McCall, the true alpha can solve everything!" 

Scott caught on to the sarcasm and said sternly flashing his red eyes "Stiles im serious."

"Scotty boy. You may be a true alpha and all but you could never handle my problems, Willow has been helping me for a while now. Scotty, you would never be able to help with the nightmares, sleep deprivation, guilt, emotion and physical pain, the constant anger, the feeling that something is going to happen, having to lie every single day so i wouldn't be a burden.... Do you know how hard it was? When i killed Donavan i was so scared... Theo got to me, he got through to my rage. He never told you what he came for did he?"

Scott looked sad at Stiles words until he looked confused at the end saying "What do you mean?"

"Theo didn't want you Scott, he didn't lie that he came for a pack though. I believe he said ' I never lied about why I came to Beacon Hills. I'm here for a pack. I came for the werecoyote, the one whose first instinct is to kill. I came for the banshee, the girl surrounded by death. I came for the dark kitsune. The beta with anger issues. I came for void Stiles. That's the pack I want. Unfortunately, it doesn't include Scott.' I merely am quoting what he said."
