Alex

I watched as Jem walked off to check on Carter, who hadn't emerged from his room in quite a while. I sat down on one of the bean bags, getting comfortable as Rob turned on the T.V..

"What would you all like to watch?" Rob asked, scrolling through Netflix.

"Anything's fine with me," I said, looking over at Magnus.

"Can we watch a nature documentary?" Magnus asked, blushing slightly at his request.

"Sure!" Rob responded, choosing one about the ocean.

Jem and Carter walked in just as the credits were rolling. "Ah-sorry guys," Jem said, sitting down. "Something odd just happened, Carter was telling me about it." I sat up in my seat more, curious at what Jem was talking about.

"Well, uh," Carter stammered, fidgeting with his fingers, "I had a really weird dream. There was a prophecy in it?" He said the last bit as a question, obviously he was a little shaken up.

"Continue," Rob said, Carter's words sparking his interest.

"Well, so I was in the Parthenon, and I was, like, dragged into the shadows? And my old Latin teacher showed up, and then this green-mist-snake came from his mouth? So I was really confused, and I tried to say something, but my mouth wouldn't work. And then my teacher started talking, but it wasn't his voice, y'know? And he said: The challenge has risen, the heroes emerged. Yet peace will not win, and lives will diverge. The quest for serenity has failed, but someone must prevail. A loved one lost, a hated one saved, and a choice that will kill or begin a new age. So now I was really confused, and I was going to ask him about it, but I was dragged back to the center of the Parthenon. So then my legs just started moving but I hadn't told them to. Anyway I was walking, and I came to this giant statue. I think it was the Athena Parthenos. So I was at the foot of Athena, right? And she just starts talking. Like, how does a statue talk? And she just said; 'Carter, Carter, Carter,' over and over, but then she said; 'wake up, before you can't anymore,' and then I woke up with a cold sweat." Carter finished up, his hands fidgeting even more.

"Interesting," Rob commented. "I do believe you just received a prophecy. We'll talk about this more later, but for now I must land the ship. We have arrived.

Carter

I told my friends-and Rob-what my dream had been about, and they all looked slightly shocked. I can't blame them, it was a very odd dream. Rob's response, however, really shook me up. A prophecy? Why would I get a prophecy? What's so important about me?

As Rob landed the ship, I looked around the ship. There were our rooms, of course, what looked to be a master bedroom in the back, and a few other doors I didn't open. BATHUNK. I felt the ship land as I was jolted out of my skin. I heard Rob calling us: "Come on down kiddos! We have arrived!"

And so, I ran into the living room, where Rob was climbing down and out of the ship. "Do we need our things?" Alex asked.

"No, someone will get them for you," Rob explained. I didn't feel particularly comfortable with the thought of someone else handling my stuff, but I trusted Rob, so I ended up just climbing down the ladder after Jem.

I found myself in a huge concrete-well-garage was really the only word I could use to explain it. Rob was talking to someone in a bright yellow vest, probably because they worked in this hangar. As I walked out from under the ship, I saw some animals flying around, a parakeet, a robin, a sparrow. This is the main headquarters after all, so it makes sense that there's a bunch of people running around. Rob finished up his conversation, and gestured for us to follow him. Doing so, I walked next to Alex.
