"Today marks the halfway point," Hunter said, looking at the mini calendar on the fridge of the tour bus, "how you doing babe?"

"I'm good," I called from the back of the bus, "I can't find my boots, have you seem them?" We were four weeks into an eight week tour with Thomas Rhett and Kane Brown. Starting last week I began having some nausea, mostly after the overnight drives and have been more tired than usual.

"Yeah they're up here," Hunter said, "Sutton and I are going to watch your sound check." He grabbed her back pack, put in her colouring book, took a juice and granola bar and was helping her get her shoes on.

"You guys go, I just need to find my nalgene bottle, I think it rolled under somewhere." I was actually in the bathroom with a pregnancy test. It was the longest five minutes, but Hunter agreed to take Sutton ahead. I almost paced a hole in the floor of the bathroom and there in front of me, were two little blue lines. "Oh goodness." I wrapped the test in a Kleenex and shoved it in my make up bag, trying to wrap my brain around whats going on and how on earth I'd tell Hunter. I got off the bus and walked across the lot to the back of the outdoor amphitheatre to my sound check with Sutton and Hunter.

"I remember coming here," I looked around, "it was my second time seeing you perform." I pointed toward Hunter. We were in New York state, Canandaigua, specifically.  The band was tuned up and we did our sound check, my cover song of choice for this tour was a golden oldie, Tim McGraw. I liked to play the covers acoustic whenever possible. Just me and my guitar. We ran through a few songs before deciding that everything sounded great.

"Jen, you feeling okay?" Kyle asked.

"Yeah, no I'm okay. Just tired, I haven't felt well rested in a few weeks. This stretch of the tour was a lot of overnight driving but I had known something was up and the pregnancy test confirmed it. The following four shows went well and we had a four days stretch off before doing some Canadian dates. We decided to spend the four days in Toronto with my parents, and I decided in had to tell Hunter about the pregnancy.

My parents decided to take Sutton to the pasrk and I made some BS excuse about a radio interview, so Hunter hung back at the house with me. "So, there is no radio interview," Hunter looked up from his phone, confused, "I just needed a few minutes alone with you." Tears began to well in my eyes and Hunter sat up, turning his body toward me, his confusion becoming concern.

"Babe, what's wrong?"

I shook my head, "I don't even know why I'm crying." I wiped my eyes, half smiling, "It must be the pregnancy hormones!"

It took a second for Hunter to click what I just said together, and as soon as he did, he hugged me, absolutely speechless. "Jenna are you for real? Did you take a test?"

I nodded, "I took two to be sure. I've got to be about four weeks in." Hunter ran his fingers through his hair, probably trying to figure out where we were and when this happened. "I think this all happened just before we left home."

He nodded, "I'm so excited, and I know we slacked on being careful at times.." I nodded.

"I feel fine, I will go get checked out by a doctor as soon as we're home." I already ran through everything in my head, I haven't been drinking in months, I take a vitamin every day and I've been taking care of myself like usual. "I just don't want to tell my parents right now." Thinking to myself that my sister just had her son, Cade and her wedding was just around the corner.

"It will be our secret." Hunter kissed my cheek.
