"Everything is looking good Jenna." Dr.Goderich flipped the lights back on in the exam room and the assistant helped wipe the jelly off of my baby bump. Hunter helped me sit up as Dr. Goderich shook our hands and we headed out the door.

"We have time to to go to the store before we need to get Sutton." I looked at the time, thinking about the list of baby stuff we still needed.

"Sounds good sweetie," Hunter held my hand,"I can't believe how fast this pregnancy has gone by."

I nodded, thinking of what life would be like with two children now. "I have the blue bird show next week. Did you wanna do it with me?" Hunter smiled.

"Absolutely." He kissed my hand as we made our way in to pick up some onesies, burp cloths and an new crib mattress. "Is there anything else Jenna?" I looked around and at the moment, could by think of anything.

"I'll make some time this week to go through what I kept from Sutton," I smiled, "this was all I had on my list." I waddled back to the car and we made our way to get Sutton from school.

"How was your day baby?" We enjoyed our family dinner on the back deck. Sutton told us all about printing, singing songs and playing.

"It sounds like you're having a lot of fun in your new class." She nodded, "have you made any friends?" Hunter asked.

"Charlie and Lizzie, we eat snack together." She smiled, adding that one kid in her class was eating sand during outside time.

I rolled my eyes and kind of smirked, "Well, you know better that that."

Our Monday to Friday routine was pretty well the same since Sutton started school. Amy and Sam were coming over to babysit while Hunter and I played a Thursday night show at the Blue Bird Cafe. "She's already in her pyjamas, her night snack is on the counter and she can stay up until eight. Wash face, brush teeth and one story." Sam and Amy shooed us off and we made our way to our performance.

Fans in the cafe were excited to see Hunter joining me, and so many kind comments about welcoming baby number two were said. It was getting to be slim pickings in my wardrobe so I opted for a long black dress with a side slit and a denim jacket. Hunter and I played acoustic songs from my album including Wildflower, Heart, and Traveller. "This next song has a special place in my heart because of who wrote it," I smiled at Hunter before continuing, " last year Hunter went on tour in Europe and he came back with a song for me about our daughter, Sutton. It's called 'Starlight'" We played the song and the same line always gets me in the heart every damn time.

"Just like the stars, that fill the summer night sky, I see the same look in my daughters eyes."

I loved playing the Blue Bird because it is intimate and peaceful. At this stage of my pregnancy, peaceful was perfect. We finished with singing Everything Has Changed, a favourite duet in our books. We headed home to find two happy sitters and a sleeping little girl. Sam and Amy stuck around to catch up a little.

"The countdown is on." Sam smiled, "what do you think, boy or girl?"

"I have no idea," I shrugged, "I want to say girl because of how easy this pregnancy has felt, just like Sutton's. It started the same way, but I was a little more tired in comparison."

"You're totally glowing though," Amy said, "Sutton is so excited, its almost all she talked about." Sam nodded.

"She hasn't talked too much about it with us," Hunter said, "that's interesting. She's seen the nursery and how we put it together for the baby. We talked about where the baby will sleep and that babies only cry, they don't talk..." He shook his head smiling.

"She will be a good big sister." I smiled at the thought.

"Anything big before baby comes?"

"ACMs in two weeks, CMAs in five weeks." Hunter said scrolling through his phone. "We didn't RSVP to CMAs yet and you're nominated Jen."

"I really don't think in could go to an award show at thirty six weeks." I encouraged and convinced Hunter to go. "If I win, just mention in my speech that leggings weren't in the dress code." I joked, but really in mid October, I would be living in leggings. Sam and Amy headed out and Hunter and I headed to bed. Our nightly routine consisted of liberally applying cream to my stretched out belly and we recently mixed in a baby name discussion.

"Easton, Lincoln and Lennox are my top three boys names." I said, "Briar, Brynn and Peyton are my girls names. What do you think?"

"Those are all unique and nice without being weird." Hunter smiled. Sutton had a pretty - unique name where some of the kids in her class had some rather bizarre names that made you wonder how much the parents through about them, like Loki or Devlin. "In think it will be sort of the same thing as with Sutton, we will have the right name when we meet him or her." We winded down and called it a night.
