NDRV3 Boys x Reader! - When You're Sick

This wasn't requested, but I wanted to put at least one scenario out before I try and get requests! (Inspiration drawn from actually being sick.)

-Ace

Shuichi

-When he figures out you're sick, it activates the overprotective side of Shuichi. He immediately insists that you need rest, and makes you take foul-tasting medicine. (Despite your protests on how bad it tastes..)

-He'll get nervous if you even get up from the bed, insisting on fetching everything you need himself. What kind of caretaker would he be if he didn't let you get your rest?

-It's kind of cute the way he'll run over to you with a worried expression every time you have a coughing fit, trying to either coax you to take medicine or drink some water to stay hydrated.

-He always stays within a few paces of you, only leaving to get water, medicine, blankets, etc. He also makes sure you are constantly distracted from how crappy you feel, whether it be him just talking to you until you fall asleep, or reading various mystery novels out loud to you. (You have to try and keep him from trying to figure out who the killer is beforehand because unfortunately, he's almost always right.)

-With Shuichi doting over you every second, its going to be a breeze getting better.

Korekiyo

-He gets an odd look in his eyes. when you start coughing out a lung and down a bunch of cold medicine. From what you can tell, its a mixture of worry and the formulation of an idea.

-Before you know it, Kiyo breaks out the cultural healing crystals. Now he wants you to drink a weird mixture that according to some folktale, will make you feel better in no time. He tries every method in the book, though you're not sure if he's just testing out healing methods, or taking lots and lots of precautions to make sure you get better.

-If it were any other day, you'd have listened to him explain the cultural background of each method. For now, you're distracted by your own constant coughing. Due to that, its a bit hard to actively listen to Kiyo's anthropological obsessions.

-When he's tired himself out, you can guarantee that he'll lull you to sleep with folktale stories until you're out like a light.

-And after gushing to himself about how beautiful you look peacefully sleeping like that, he leaves you to get better.

Kaito

-When you call him up and tell him you're sick and can't go out, he immediately hangs up and rushes over. Ten minutes later and Kaito busts through the door. Your vision is immediately obscured by Kaito's jacket being thrown over you. Give him another 10 seconds, and he's immediately smothering you with kisses that are meant to cure your cold, but will most likely just get him sick.

-Kaito believes that kisses/cuddles and lots of blankets will fix any kind of sickness you have. Nobody can tell him otherwise, not even you. (Not that you mind getting kisses, right?)

-Besides all the get-better kisses, he's also the type to stay very close to you all throughout your sick days. It was only inevitable that one day he would wake up sneezing and coughing like you.

-At first, he denies that he's sick, focusing himself on taking care of you. But, you put your foot down once he sneezed so hard he smashed his head into a wall.

- Now you both are downing medicine while curled up on the couch. Remind yourself never to let Kaito take care of you while you're sick again.

Keebo

-He's a little confused at your sneezing and coughing because while he does know what sickness is, he doesn't have the ability to get sick and doesn't know much about it.

-Oblivious to your discomfort, Keebo begins to ask questions about your sickness, things like "Why do people get sick?" and asking about the different types of sicknesses and their symptoms.

-The questions don't stop coming. You'll have to tell him to shut up and go get medicine because he won't stop on his own.

-Afterwards , he'll apologize over and over for not realizing your pain, asking even more questions, this time about how you feel and your symptoms, trying to come to a diagnosis.

-After some research on sickness remedies, Keebo is rushing around for you, getting everything you need for a successful recovery, and is very relieved once your cold goes down. Next time, he swears that he'll do better to take care of you. (Not that he wants there to be a next time!!!)

Kokichi

-He switches between whining about how you're going to get him sick with all your sneezing and coughing, and fake crying about the fact that you're going to die and leave him all alone because you have the plague.

-When Kokichi is not being his annoying self, he attempts to help you get better by feeding you snacks. (and Panta, of course)

-For now, he tones down the annoyingness and complies with getting medicine, water, etc for you. After all, if you're sick, Kokichi will just feel bad about messing with you, so for now you get a momentary grace period.

-The biggest loss for Kokichi here is that you don't have the strength to put up with his usual antics... Don't worry though! Once you're better, all the pranks and teasing and general annoyingness that Kokichi was holding back while you were sick is going to be waiting for you.

-Maybe you should go back to being sick.

Rantaro

-Calmest out of all the boys here, he's very confident with his taking-care-of-sick-people skills. (Maybe that's his Ultimate)

-All of his experience is from taking care of his many sisters through their sicknesses, so there's no chance that you're going to be sick for very long.

-It gets to the point where he starts handing you tissues before you even sneeze, and handing you food/water/medicine right before you ask him for some.

-Despite his chill attitude, Rantaro is a little disappointed that you're confined to your bed for the time being, because you two are the kind of couple to never stay in one place.

-Don't worry! You'll be better in no time with Rantaro's expertise.

Ryoma

-Ryoma is clueless on what he's to do. He doesn't know anything about how to relieve you from your constant sneezing and coughing. 

-He complies with getting medicine for you, but you'll need to provide him with extra details on what exact kind of medicine to get for you. What is the difference between Tylenol and Sudafed? He has no clue, he's never been sick himself, much less taken care of another sick person.

-He has no experience in taking care of anyone besides himself, but he'll try to learn as he goes. Give him some time to figure things out, but he's doing his best.

-He isn't sure whether to stay by your side and comfort you while you're sick or to try and keep his distance to not get sick himself, but ultimately he decides to provide support while keeping a healthy distance. 

-Despite him keeping his distance from you, he still thinks your sneezes are incredibly cute, even when you're coughing up a storm like that.

Gonta

-Gonta doesn't know much about medicine... He feels sad that he can't be of more service to you while you're sick, but he'll help in his own little ways!

-To make up for it, Gonta carries you everywhere, so you don't tire yourself out, he claims. Even in public, he insists on carrying you everywhere. It's the gentlemanly thing to do! Although, you do get weird looks when Gonta casually carries you around drugstores, while you point out what kinds of medicine to get.

-In addition to carrying you everywhere, Gonta does his best to make things like soup and tea to soothe your cough/sore throat or just to make you feel a bit better. (Surprisingly, it's very good.)

-Really, anything you need, Gonta, the perfect gentleman, will fetch it for you! Really though, this doesn't change, regardless of your health. (Gonta is perfect boyfriend material y'all can't tell me otherwise)

-Once you're better, Gonta is very happy! He's rewarded with a kiss for a job well done of taking care of you!
