She laughed. Then we heard a crash from the down the cave steps. A person. We all jumped in the water carefully. "Who's is there?" Asked a shaky Australian voice. . "Sharlet?" All three mermaids hissed. "What is she doing here?" Cleo... Mom said, wrinkling up her nose like she had smelled something bad. "Sharlet? Like Lewis's.. Dad's Ex-Girlfriend?" Cleo smiled when I called Lewis 'Dad' but wrinkled her nose again when I said 'Ex-Girlfriend'. "Yep" Said Rikki and Emma said in usion as footsteps were heard coming up the rock stairs.
