Mako

I was just returning from a swim. I went up to my room and exhaled in relief. My family was going to Mako. I have always swam there, it is my second home, but taking my friends there, is well, weird. It is my last year of high school. I need to make sure that Luska and Halley don't find the mool pool. I remember Halley's reaction.

                   ~flashback~

"Guess who is here!" Shouted my friend Halley from downstairs. It woke me up. I accidentally fell asleep in the tub. Bad Idea, tail and all. I panicked and hoisted myself out. I was on the floor of my room when the door opened to the sound of Halley Singing "Happy 14th birthday" That was cut off by the sight of a gleaming purple tail. Then I had to explain everything.

                 ~Flashback over~

Halley's reaction was, "Make me one too." That was Lusaka's too. Her thoughtful expression gave it away. But I had told them both; "You don't understand. You have to keep it from everyone and even your parents. You can't swim ever. Except on the ocean." But they hadn't listened.

I packed all I could get. And I texted Halley and Lusaka.

   Nora- ready to camp?

   Halley-Ready to get my tail

   Lucy-Me too!

    Nora-No! I am not telling you where.

     Lucy-You are not my parent

     Halley-You are not my parent

       Lucy-I know where it is I have watched the show.

       Halley-Lucy, tell me too!

       Nora-Fine! Just Fine! Do whatever.

                       Mako Island

I trudged through the island jungle, stopping by the brooks. We set up camp eagerly. Then We went to explore with no parents there to tell us it was too dark.

      We fell down the tunnel. We heard the water and the girls rushed and jumped in.
