Have you ever wondered what it would be like without having not to depend on yourself and inconvenience others? To have a burden on them? Well, guess what? I have! My dad did another screw up in this family. He made a HUGE mistake with transportation. We don't have a car. There are times when I wanted to go to places, and my mom and I had to go through the most lamest, embarrassing, horrible, (any name in the book) moments. My mom is used to being an independent woman throughout her whole life. She never depended on anyone but herself. Ever since she married my dad, things have changed in her life drastically, as you guys already read. It's not fair how we have to go through these things to get what we want. For entertainment, to get together with people. There were very rare times when people let us down. They said that they were going to help us do IMPORTANT errands, and never came. My philosophy is this "Friends Aren't Always There For The Fun Times. They Help You Through The Difficult Times Too"! Being a friend, people think that the definition of that is just being there. Being a friend, my definition is "Someone Who Guides You. Someone Who's Always There For You, And Refuses To Let You Down". (Or sink) either one. My friends were very kind to me, and very helpful. My friends dont judge me all because of my family life. Although, I was always concerned about whether or not my friends parents would judge me and my mom even though it's NOT our fault. I was afraid that I would lose friends all because I don't have any type of transportation. Actually, if you read in between the lines, they were never friends to begin with if they aren't supporting you. If your going to end a friendship like that, that's ridiculous. There's absolutely no reason to take it out on a 15 1\2 year old girl that can't even drive or even get a lousy job! I mean, for crying out loud, I seriously want a job. It's a real shame that I have to worry about my future at such a young age, but hey, I will be ahead of everyone and at least I will get some sort of idea what my plans are becoming. I hope to take drivers ed in 10th grade. You have to plan to attend VERY session (which idrc about) because hey, who's complaining about getting their permit?? I'm certainly not. The day that I get those car keys in my hand, will not only be the happiest day of my life, but I call it.... INDEPENDENCE DAY!! (Not social studies related) 😂😂
