myra's pov

"The greatest warrior has come to inspect the training of a mere immortal fairy?" he said cheekily, smiling broadly. he knew he was charming enough to even charm a cold looking Valkyrie but knew better than to expect a goddess to fall for it

"everything is in order i see" she replied looking around fairy dust flying everywhere, with the fairies training with both swords and dust

" just recruited a new set of young fairies, they look promising"

"not like that matters we haven't been in war for ages, our army is bored and idle, if anything i'm surprised we have new recruits"

"you're disappointed that we haven't warred? i think that's a good thing if you ask me we can hardly protect ourself..." cadion said

"so much for a  leaders faith in his army" i said loosing my temper already " i'm disappointed that we haven't even had the honor to participate in the immortal ogu for centuries" i  turned leaving "no wonder the other nests look down on us"

"well that went well" i heard cadion mutter

CADION'S POV

"Alright guys i think that'll be enough for today, be here before dawn tomorrow" he said turning to leave "of course their are consequences to anything otherwise"

it had been a rather fruitful day, yet something had been bothering him all day, no doubt it started after myra left, she was right,  it was quite embarrassing that they hadn't participated in the immortal fight were different nests brought out their best fighters to represent their nests with very few laws standing, most immortals never let their opponent exit the square alive usually beheading or burning them.

The dragons, the Valkyries, the werewolves, the vampires, and the demons were the only ones who stood a chance, but that didn't stop all the other nest the witches, the fey's, the serpents, the werecats, even the elves with just their healing powers participated and so many other creatures, it was only the fairies and probably the anansi's who were known to have all knowledge, so knew they wouldn't win didn't participate, but even at that they were respected for their knowledge while the fairies were just called the cowardly nest.

He knew his army had been wondering when he'd sign up for the ogu but hadn't not for fear of being killed like he knew the fairies thought, but that he may not make it too far, and that might discourage the other fairies, he had hoped he would find  a warrior greater than him but it seemed not, the only fairy that would win with fighting skills was myra who couldn't participate as a goddess even though she didn't need her godly powers,  though no one was sure what her godly powers were, maybe it was finally time he, he sensed a presence .... someone was here

"hellooo, show yourself" he said drawing out his sword, he always came by this stream to relax, not a lot of fairies knew about it and the ones that did were too scared to come here cause it was the stream that demarcated the fairies nest from other immortal nests in the brits.

"cadion" myra said with a slight nod standing at the edge at the corner

"i'm surprised to see you here" he said still shocked "is there a reason?"

"i'm the fairy god mother i shouldn't have a reason for being anywhere, especially not in the fairies nest" she said looking directly into the stream

"My apologies GoDeSs" he said sarcastically not thinking anything of it

next thing he knew he fell into the stream with his wings out, even when he didn't order them out and myra laughing with her wand out, he tried getting out and kept slipping on the rocks, myra kept laughing harder
