Chapter 2 RUN!

It was worse than she could have ever imagined worse than the pictures she'd seen, this particular Lykan! looked angry and was running in full speed .

she thought she was pretty fast but this speed was something else, it looked like a determined wolf that couldn't be stopped by anything other than chi'...

WAIT!! WHY WAS IT MOVING IN HER DIRECTION, IT COULDN'T POSSIBLY SEE HER COULD it?.... she started to panic and decided she'd seen enough

she looked towards the wall trying to determine what the shortest route would be to get back to it, when she looked back at the lykan he had gained so much ground she made the mistake of looking at his face and the moment she did she knew without doubt he could see her even though she was invisible.

what does a lykan want with a tiny fly?!! she thought panicking at this point she could hear her heart pounding like it was about to explode....

think fast Laila!.. even though at this point she was too terrified to do anything..

it was either run! or die! and for a second the latter didn't sound so bad this life was already not on her side, then she thought of aunt masie... RUN!

she started flying towards the wall as fast as she possibly could, if she was her regular size it would have been more of a wild jump to get to the wall, but it seemed so far away, she looked back and the lykan was directly behind her, then she heard a howl so loud she thought her ears would pierce, when she tried looking back at the wall instead of the wall she saw a tree right in front of her and tried to dodge it.... too late!

she smashed herself against the tree, pain radiating through her body, her right wing taking most of the hit, and she started falling, well this was it at least she tried...

she hit the ground so hard she felt like she'd snapped her neck and yet she could hear the wolf howl louder than before..

she just lay there, it was as if chi' had brought her to the brit by mistake, she closed her eyes and hoped in her next immortal life she'd still meet aunt Masie if not for anything to ask a lot of questions she'd been too afraid to ask.... for the love of chi' get it over with werewolf.....NOTHING!!!! she slightly peeked through her lids afraid of what she'd see... it was just trees, she could still sense his presence...

But something was different, her surrounding, everything wasn't as humongous as it was before she fell, no way! SHE WAS HER FULL GROWN SIZE!! she immediately jumped up and stared at herself, for one she had healed already and her wings were tucked back in and she was no longer in pain, but above all she had grown claws on her fingers and toes, which could only happen for a fairy who reached full immortality, something was off! about her something had changed, she didn't wait to figure it out out here, there was a lot she didn't understand she needed answers and only one person could help her, she immediately ran for the wall.

As soon as she took a step across the trees that served as a wall she heard a howl that was no longer terrifying and sounded more like a sad whimper, a lot was going through her head that she paid it no mind... why did they wolf not rip her head off? how did she regain her full immortal size outside the wall? why had the wolf attacked her even when she made her self invisible? what were her powers? but worst of all WHY HAS HER HEART STOPPED BEATING?
