Jughead got home. Clary and Craig were stood by the door. Nancy ran and hugged him. "Jughead!" She said
"Hey Nancy" he hugged her tight.
Jellybean was stood by clary.
Jughead smiled at her and rubbed her head "Hey jelly"
Jelly hugged him "dad wouldn't let me see you"
"I didn't want you to come see me" Jug knelt Down to her
"What why?"
"Because you wouldn't of been able to cope" he hugged her again
"I would have" she said
Jug looked at her "you would have been upset. I didn't want to see you like that" Jug smiled
She smiled "I love you Jug"
"I love you too"
Jug stood up and looked at clary and Craig
"So you're gonna stay with us?" Clary said
"Yeah. I'm not ready to live with him again. But I'm still going to be keeping in contact and he's still my dad. I just can't live with him"
"We understand. You can stay here for as long as you want. We don't mind"
Jughead hugged them both.
"Back to school tomorrow?" Clary said
"Can I go back Monday?"
"Fine yeah. Go get some rest. We need to make a phone call"

Jughead woke up after a long nap, he heard Clary and Craig arguing. He sat on the stairs.
"It's his choice Clary"
"No. It's not, we are his guardians. We decide."
"The serpents are his family Clary, we are not taking that away from him. End of story"
"Let's not forget one of them shot him!"
"One. One serpent, every one else loves him. Don't do this clary"
Clary didn't respond
"It's his only connection to Fp, and hopefully soon his mum"
"Then he should have gone and lived back with Fp"
"Jughead?" Nancy said
Jug looked at her "Hey" he smiled
"Why you listening to mummy and daddy arguing?"
"I'm not"
Nancy sat next to him "you are"
"How long has it been going on?"
"Ever since you got home. Mummy doesn't want you going back to the serpents"
"I have to go back"
"I know you do. Jelly knows so does daddy. But mummy she cares about you, she doesn't want you getting hurt again."
Jughead looked down.
"Fine Craig have it your way, have him go back. Have him get hurt again Fine." Clary stormed off and stormed up the stairs. She stopped when she saw Jughead.
Jug looked at her "Hey clary"
"Listening In huh, really?"
"Yeah. Sorry"
"Whatever" clary walked into her bedroom and shut the door.

Jughead was in his room, he snuck out and went to Betty's.
"Yo let me in" Jug text her
"Where are you?"
"Outside your window"
Betty let him in "what you doing here?"
"I missed you" he climbed in.
"I missed you too" she smiled and hugged him
He winced
She stepped back "Sorry"
He smiled "it's fine"
Betty kissed him soft but passionately
Jug kissed back "god I missed you" he smiled
"Soo, how is clary?"
"Good why?"
"She letting you stay with the serpents?"
"You heard about that?"
"Yeah. The whole hospital did"
"I don't know. She doesn't want me to but I'm staying with them. There my family I have to"
"Yeah I get that. But does she?"
"Nope not one bit"
"Wonderful" she chuckled "but you're staying?"
"Yes I am"
"Good" she smiled.
"I smell pancakes" Jughead said
Betty laughed "did you want some pancakes juggy?"
"If you are offering" he smiled
"I love you" Betty said putting her arms round his neck
"I love you too" he kissed her
He pulled away "so. We having pancakes?"
